My Star Rewards® is a fun reward system designed for parents (and care givers) that focuses on positive parenting by encouraging good behavior. It rewards the positive daily achievements (big and small) of children while adding a deterrent for bad or undesirable behavior.
You set goals and their corresponding rewards (for desirable behavior) and penalties (for undesirable behavior) for the child. The goals should be within the child's abilities and appropriate for her/his age. Children are different, they have different needs and desires as well as strengths and weaknesses. With My Star Rewards® you can set realistic goals tailored to your child.
Children get My Star Rewards® star cards when set goals are met (and lose them when undesirable behavior is exhibited). The collected star cards are redeemable for items by the child - items which you and the child have agreed upon. The important thing is that it is your system, you set the child's goals for earning stars, what behavior qualifies for losing stars and how many stars are needed to get the different rewards - all customized to what works for your child. It also helps children with their math skills and introduces the concept of saving.
The My Star Rewards® system is great for Families, Day Care Providers, Schools, Churches - just about any situation where you are caring for young children.
What's included in the set?
This My Star Rewards® Blue Pocket Chart Set comes with a Blue 14.5" by 27" pocket chart, 25 My Star Rewards Cards, 2 star card holders (one pink and one blue), 45 pictured behavioral/reward cards, two pieces of loop fastener, two pieces of double sticky foam tape (to customize chart with photos or other) and program ideas sheet.
The Star cards for children ages 3 & up. The Pocket Chart and Behavior & Reward Cards are for adult use.

A great product makes parenting fun and so much easier . I got two of these for my 4-year-old twin boy and girl so that they would not fight over it. I was glad that I could even find the charts in their favorite colors. The chart is well made and durable. The pictures on the reward and behavior cards are cute and easy to understand. It even comes with the star boxes to hold the star cards. The reward system is very easy to set up and to use. My kids love to pick out their own rewards and count their star cards every evening. They have even started a "star" competition between them. It is a great way to visualize the behaviors and rewards for kids. I highly recommend it to all the parents.

An Effective Parenting Tool . I bought this for my 6-year-old nephew because his mom (my sister) had a hard time getting him to listen. My nephew likes the pictures and the cards with shiny stars. Every day he looks at the chart and knows what his parents' expectations are. He is motivated by the fact that he can earn stars to get the rewards he wants. Even though it has been only one week since he started using this reward system, my sister said she already noticed an improvement in her son's behavior. He does not need to be reminded to finish his homework after school or to practice piano any more...
