Excellent and durable . I bought this book for my 16 month old granddaughter. This has become her favorite book. She enjoys turning the pages, taking the animals out of the pockets and putting them in the correct places in the book. She asks for this book every day. It is extremely durable and will last through many more grandchildren! This book is something you can travel with since it has a zipper all around so nothing will fall out and for those times when your child needs to play quietly, this is perfect!

Love this book! . I bought this book for my 1 year old, and she immediately got really interested in it. She loves to put the animals in the pockets, even though not the right ones yet :) The fish bowl is her favorite "home" and so far everything from fish to cow goes right in there :)
There are 8 animals, and 8 pages with "homes" for them. Everything is really well made and colorful - great design. The animals are recognisable and durable. My daughter has fun learning the names of the animals, the sounds they make, and where they live.
I am so happy with this product, that I bought this book again, for my friend baby's birthday. I'm sure she'll love it, too.

Great quiet book! . I just bought this book for my 18 month old daughter. The other quiet books seem too advanced or not well made or not worth the money. I knew she loved animals and thought this would be good for her... and it has been awesome! It is perfect for her age and it is well worth the money. It is very well made and durable. I also love that it is 8 pages and the parts have a lifetime warranty.
We gave this to our daughter for a 5 hour flight and she played with it a lot! I'd say at least for 15-20 minutes at a time. I've never seen her stay interested in a toy like she is interested in this book. I'm so excited we have this for her!

Cute book! . My daughter got this when she was a baby and has loved it ever since. Now at 2 she practices the letters and spelling the names of the animals to put them away. All of her friends that come over to play love it too so we just bought it as a gift for a friend. Great book for a wide range of ages!
Fantastic toy - fun for months . First, I thought this toy was a bit pricy. But it turned out to be well worth the money. We bought it to bring it along on a long trip where we would be away from most of the other toys my daughter, then age 15 months, has. The first few days, it was a bit difficult for her to get the animals into their places, but once the book got a bit more wear, it was much easier - but not too easy. She loves the animals and putting them in their places, and she would play with this toy with us for at least 15-20 minutes before moving on to something else. And after several months, this toy is still a favorite that she picks out herself to play with. I highly recommend it - it is fun and educational. And the little animals can also go into lots of other containers so there are a lot of different options for play.
Great toy . Two thumbs up!I bought this for my own children many years ago. Loved it so much over the years that I got it for my first grandson. My kids especially loved to hide the animals in the wrong houses. Very well made and we've only lost one animal over the years. Highly recommended.
Great Educational Toy . This book is so nice. It is soft and each page has a "pocket" to put the animals in. There are animals in pockets on each inside cover with the name of the animal on the pocket and the child "reads" the page and finds the animal that goes on that page and puts the animal in the appropriate pocket. The little "house" has a zipper to keep everything inside and a handle so the child can carry it. I just love it. I hesitated buying it because of the price but it is well worth it. My grandson can take it anywhere he goes. He absolutely loves it. The animals are perfect size for his little hands.
Great book! . My son loves this book. It was for a long trip and he still plays with it! Cute idea and it teaches them about animals and their homes. It travels well.
Cheaply made? . I'm a little bit mixed about my review. The other reviewers rave about how well-made and durable the book is. I'm wondering if I was shipped a book that missed the quality control inspection? There are tons of loose threads hanging off in many places. The yellow pockets that hold the animals in their place inside the cover are sewn on crooked. Also, the piece of velcro that holds the turtle in the turtleshell is so tiny that it is already losing its "stick factor" after only 3 weeks of play. Overall, it seems the quality is just not there.
