Sturdy cute insect net . I purchased two of these nets, one each for my 3.5-year-old and 1.5-year-old, and they love it! At just under 24" total length, it's long enough for the kids to reach up (fairly) high to catch insects, but not so long as to make it unwieldy, even for my 1.5-year-old. As with all Melissa and Doug products, it seems very well-made and sturdy and the cute, colorful design is an added bonus. Very pleased with purchase!

Butterfly's Seem Excited . My son purchased this product for his grandmother (using my money, computer, and shipping address...but it was his idea, at least) due to her recent installment of a butterfly garden. It shockingly arrived the day after I purchased it (very excited by that) in a package shockingly large for it.
However this looks like a very well-built product and I imagine that once the butterflies get a look at this bad-boy they'll be quivering in their little boots. Although I do imagine some will start a variation of a rebellion. Perhaps with blue face paint and kilts. Although I suppose a few will start some Occupy Rose Bush movement.
It's very colorful and my son is extremely excited to get to his grandmother for Festivus.

Great purchase . I had one bug net and after they caught "each other" 20 or so times, the net was destroyed. This one is actually sturdy and the handle is great. The other ones feel like a wire is going to poke out at any moment and stab someone.

great toy . My two boys were using plastic bags to catch bugs and after quite a few butterfly fatalities we decided to buy them a real butterfly net. These nets are durable and cute. The boys absolutely love them. They also use them in the summer to remove grass from their inflatable pool. We love them.

Fun Net . My 3 year old daughter was asking for a net and when we got this we were both happy with how it looks and how it can be handled easily.

Well I thought it might be fun... . It's adorable and I thought we might be able to catch bugs in it, but so far the only thing the kids want to put in the net are each other's heads. I would love to see my child running around catching butterflies in a field of flowers, but I think that is not realistic, at least not in the central US. Maybe it could be used at the beach to skim the water for little fish or shells, but the beach shops sell nets for that purpose for super cheap. So... I wish I hadn't spent money on this. Too bad.

Neat little toy . I bought this for my 4 yr old last summer and he used it all summer long. It has a durable hook-and-loop strap and the top snaps very securely. It works best for very small insects such as ladybugs, lovebugs, and crickets. My son has even put very tiny frogs in it. Insects such as dragonflies and butterflies are too large for it. It also came with a plastic toy bug in it and he loved using the fake bug to scare grandparents and other relatives.

My 3 Year Old LOVES this watch! . My 3 year old loves this watch because it leaves his hands free to catch additional insects/bugs; and I love this watch because it tightly clicks shut! So many other bug "boxes" and containers just have lids that are placed on top but don't lock into place which means 99% of the time the little critters are going to end up in places you don't want them! (such as running around your house or in your car while you are driving and your child is strapped in his carseat so obviously can't re-catch them). I have bought about a dozen or so other bug "boxes" or "houses or "containers" and this is by far the best one. I only wish I had found it before wasting all my money on all those others.

Lovin' the bug watch! . I ordered this for our 4.5yo son for Christmas, to use next Spring. I broke down & gave it to him when it came today & he LOVES it! Now our 5.5yo son wants one too, & he's not even the tree hugger! LoL

Poorly Constructed . I bought this for a 5 year old who loves to collect bugs. I thought it would be interesting for him to carry around the bugs he found without having to place them in a cup or in his hand. Though the concept for the gadget was interesting, the "Watch-A-Bug" latch would not close properly. By the end of the day, he got tired of having to continuosly close it shut and removed it from his wrist. He lost it in a day.

Great product . Bought this product hoping my daughter would get interested in the outdoors, and it worked. She went around collecting bugs and such asking all kinds of questions.

Bug watch . My children were very excited to receive these watches. The only problem I came across was that the netting is very delicated and quickly became damaged with holes.

Cute idea . My son loves bugs, he loves catching them and making "pets" of them (although I don't let him keep anything longer than a day), he loves this toy. ALTHOUGH I think it's a tad small for things like crickets and grasshoppers, probably more suitable to ladybugs, pillbugs. My son likes having his new friends to carry along with him. This toy has been left outside without rusting up (on the screen) and put up with my 5 year old who is pretty rough with his stuff (and often climbs trees while wearing this). Overall I'm happy with the product, he also has a larger screened bug cage and he uses them both to transport his bugs around. The bugs cannot escape once the "cage" is secured so if your little bug-lover likes to bring them inside you don't have to worry about them getting all over your house.

Cool Bug Watch - Awesome Toy! . This bug watch is unique. It was purchased as a birthday gift for my 7 year old son, who is extremely interested in bugs, lizards, frogs and other small animals. He already has several other types of "bug homes". We live in South Florida, so it's always "bug season" around here! This little gadget is pretty cool because it's portable and allows my son to do other activities, while keeping the creepy crawlers close at hand. The thing I like most about it, is that once it's time to come inside, or go to bed... we MUST release the captured creatures. With some of the other bug crates that he uses, it suddenly becomes an issue once it's time to release the bugs. With this little Bug Watch, there is NO room to create a habitat. As a result, all bugs MUST be set free to buzz another day. No more long term buggy commitment. He can look at the bugs close up, carry them around with him, and then at the end of the day, it's easy (and emotionally painless) to set them free. The wrist strap is durable, the top pops right open when you press the release button, and it's the perfect size for small insects. An overall good buy, especially for the price!

great idea poorly made . It's a neat idea but the "screen" is a very weak fabric mesh that was quickly broken. Also the watch band was so stiff that it hurt my four year old's wrist. Furthermore, rather than a velcro closure as was indicated on the box, it came with the kind that requires a plastic bump to be inserted in a hole. Given the stiffness of the band, even I found putting it on and taking it off to be a chore and my son wasn't close to being able to, which frustrated both of us. I wonder if the company decreased the quality after the purchase of some of the other reviewers?.

Wonderful Teaching Aid! . I had the great fortune of parents who made sure I learned three other languages as a kid. They started very early with me and I distinctly remember them making their own flashcards. It's too bad that they didn't have access to these beautiful, affordable, and very easy to use flashcards to aid them! Now, as a parent, teacher, and a nanny, I work hard to teach my kids the basics of French and Spanish, and I stumbled across these. They have been well worth the price and they were highly affordable. Best of all, my kids that I teach love the cards and enjoy using them too. I would recommend them to both the beginner and the advanced speaker as they embark on teaching others.

There are a few times that the cards use outdated pronunciations or word choices, but it's actually a plus in my book because it aids further in teaching. When I see a card with a different context of pronunciation or word choice than what is currently popular or commonly used, then I can supplement by saying "Or you could say it like this ..." Anyways, the cards are really lovely and sturdy. They seem sort of indestructible because one of the kids I nanny is 18 months old and a total "rip things to shreds" sort and he wasn't even able to destroy one! They also wipe off nicely with a damp cloth.

Do consider using these for your own kids! You wont be sorry!

A great tool for an addicting hobby . First, I don't consider this a toy, but rather a tool for a hobby. A toy you play with. This, you put rocks in a barrel and leave it alone to do it's job.

But, it is a great tool. I got it for my girlfriend for Christmas. It caught me off guard when she said she wanted one, but I figured what the heck, why not. Now, almost 3 months after Christmas I'm finally writing a review. Why the delay? Because it takes a long time to finish the job.

Her first batch was with a bunch of various rocks we bought from another vendor. They looked just like a bunch of rocks, nothing fancy at all. Well, after about a week in the course grit, you could see these rock were going to look really nice. In time. All in all, the rocks went through various levels of grit, and finally polish, and came out with some very nice looking polished stones. The next step is to make some jewelry with some of the nicer ones. It's hard to believe the difference in what a plain looking rock looks like after several weeks of being ground down, smoothed and then polished.

Before her first batch was done, I decided I wanted to try some, too (a good reason to buy the two barrel model). I bought a couple pounds of Apache Tears. Well, after almost seven weeks, I took them out this past weekend. I found out after I started them, that Apache Tears are not easy to smooth and polish, but I'd already started them by then, so I was going to see it through. Wow, did they turn out great!

I do wish some of the instructions had been a bit clearer though. You need to oil the unit, but the instructions left me, at least, not sure exactly where and how to do so. Be careful when you oil it not to get any oil on the drums or rollers. The lids are a bit of a bear to get on and off until you figure it out, and perhaps there could have been better directions on those as well.

If you are going to get one of these, and you plan on doing two batches of rocks at a time, I would suggest you buy another drum, so you have at least three. Keep one for nothing but the polish stage, so you don't run the risk of contamination of the polish with some of the grit. A very thorough cleaning may alleviate that problem, but with the time it takes to complete a batch, the cost of a new barrel is negligible to ensure no problems. I actually bought two more barrels and use a different barrel for each stage. Mark them with a silver permanent marker (lids too) and you're good to go.

(Remember, too, this set is not a kit. You will need to buy the grit and polish separate.)

Although young kids will enjoy this, I still don't consider it a toy.

This tumbler rocks . This is my first experience with a tumbler. The directions said to start with agates, (I didn't know what they were, so we went to a rock shop & bought some.) The tumbler works great, was made in the USA, and my 9 year old grandson is having a good time checking the progress every week. And so am I! It is incredible how beautiful the rocks are! This is more of a hobby tool than a toy, and I hope it will be something he will enjoy when he is older, too.

Tumbler is Solid . Very good price, and quick shipping. I am using this tumbler to pre-finish my hand fabricated gold and silver jewelry. It saves me a ton of time on my clean-up and allows me to move on to my next piece while it is starting the process.

A-R2 rock tumbler . The tumbler is built like it will last forever. It's really not a toy.

Excellent for beginners and home hobbiest . I've never owned or used a rock tumbler so this was all new to me. I did not know that it takes as long as it did/does to tumble stones into a polished product; all phases of tumbling added it's between 3 and 4 weeks! But the unit ran non-stop overnight as the instructions say, you change the grit media (lil' messy but you get used to it & faster at it) at certain intervals and the end product is impressive. I think with some experience you could reduce the tumbling time. I did not use soft stones and again followed the instruction manual, I think with some actual gem stones and/or soft stones that would be the case that your tumbling time would be much shorter. But in the end it did really well. If anyone is making home jewelry/crafts or for a school project, this is ideal but again it may serve you best to begin the tumbling sometime prior to the start date of the actual project so they will be more ready. It's a quiet machine but the garage, laundry room or a separate crafts room would be better suited. Seems like its well made and should last a very long time.

Good Rock tumbler . Gave this rock tumbler to my sister for a Christmas gift. She's been tumbling rocks ever since! The rocks turned out so beautiful and shiny. She's very happy with it. And its not noisy!

Rock Tumbler . I am 59 years old and don't view this as a toy. I works great.

Dawn . This really isn't a toy but a product for a hobby. I bought it for my husband who enjoys turning rocks into smooth beautiful objects. It is well made and ordering from Amazon.com was easy.

Excellent hobbiest rock tumbler . I am now enjoying my first batch of tumbled and polished quartz beach stones. The results I obtained with this tumbler are highly satisfying. The stones have a high polish and I can see more beautiful depth and detail than when I plucked the wet stones from the surf.

I found the tumbler easy to use. I had one question about the tumbler and called the manufacturer and spoke to a very helpful and knowledgeable person who answered my questions (precisely where to oil the motor, how often, and which type of oil to use) who then went on to include several helpful hints for running the tumbler. As a result, I did not experience any malfunctions listed by any other reviewers (broken belt, leaking barrell), and my tumbled quartz stones are truly lovely.

I highly recommend this tumbler. In addition to revealing the beauty of polished stones to kids, it will also teach them patience and respect for a scientific/industrial process because they must perform specific steps to polish the stones and then wait for the final product. And when you think about that, it matches the fact that the original specimen, now laying shiny in their palm, took millions of years to form.

This tumbler is also made in America and that is something we can support with pride.

Nice seaglass tumbler! . Bought this to tumble broken glass into sea glass. Sturdy, quiet, does a nice job in a few days. Very happy with this tumbler. NOT cheap. This should last forever!

Great Game with Problem Solving Skills . I would recommend this to any young kids that are interested in design or building. Really allows them to excel in the way they think about gravity and other things science!

Cons Review

When pigs (don't) fly... . My seven-year-old son has been obsessed with contraptions ever since he saw them on "Blue's Clues" years ago, so when we set up the Wacky Contraption Lab on Christmas morning, he was very interested in how everything worked and was engaged in the set up. This from a child now mostly interested in video games. I was so pleased!We followed the directions, got everything together, and set the ball rolling. Though the ball dropped squarely on the plate that is supposed to, as the grand finale, launch the pig, nothing happened. We modified. No launch. We called Dad over. Dad has a degree in bio-medical engineering. Dad couldn't make the thing work. Eventually three PhDs and an MD and two former grade-school teachers flailed and failed, and our previously engaged little boy wandered off to play a video game.A less subjective response to this toy: the felt boards lose their shape after several rounds of pressing the velcro-mounted chutes to them, thus hindering the success of the contraption, and the strike plate for the pig launch is so narrowly calibrated that it almost never works when the ball falls on it. Also, the chutes tend to pull away from the backboard after one or two runs.I usually pay close attention to the product reviews on Amazon, but I didn't this time. Christmas was a week away and I needed a gift. This one had such promise! But now the box and shipping information are gone and I am stuck with over-priced, poorly engineered wacky junk. This purchase was worse than merely disappointing, it was a failure.

Smart Lab Weird and Wacky Contraption Lab . Don't buy this toy !!!!! Purchased for my grandson for Christmas and we were very disappointed. It is poorly made out of flimsy material and the backing on the main frame is peeling off already. Parts for the contraption Lab do not adhere well at all even though the velcro is fairly strong....a huge rip off for the money

cheap construction . I purchased this gift for my 3 children, ages 5, 7, & 10. They love to construct & I love the concept of this product. However, upon pulling it out of the box, the wall is made out of cardboard & the hook-and-loop covering is not secured to the cardboard in several areas. Also, when you set it up, some of the pieces fall away from the wall when the marble hits them, even if the marble falls with a small amount of force, because the velcro does not adhere strongly enough to the hook-and-loop wall. I am disappointed in the quality of this product, especially for the high price tag. I am especially disappointed that I will have to box it back up & return it. My kids LOVE it but I can't justify paying for poor workmanship.

Cool but already coming apart . I think this is a great toy, but the fabric is already peeling off the cardboard backing, and we've literally only built two runs on it so far this morning. Somehow I'm going to have to figure out how to reinforce it. Otherwise, it's a great idea and can provide hours of entertainment.

Didn't work for us . I had to return this toy because although it has potential to offer hours of creative problem solving and fun, the velcro on the individual pieces didn't stick to the felt on the board, rendering it absolutely useless.

Grandsons love it . I have 2 ten year old grandsons that just love this. They started out building the contraptions in the examples, but now are just trying to come up with new and weirder ways to put things together. The boards were warped a little when it arrived, which caused the ball to miss the troughs once in a while. A couple days under some heavy books solved that problem.

Contraption Lab Review . love the contraption lab, my three kids (ages 6,7 and 8)have a ton of fun with it- playing for hours. The board is kind of flimsy but we made a bigger felt board on the back of a door so it wasnt a big deal. Wish there were additional kits to buy to make the contraption bigger.

Smart Lab - Smart Fun . My son played with this for a few hours the first day he got and has been playing with it since. Only a three on durability - made ok, not great and we lost a few of the marbles very quickly. Needs a way to "house' all the pieces. But overall a fun toy!

notworthit . I love the concept of this toy but the quality leaves alot to be desired. The board that is used to attach the pieces was cheap and had problems day one. This would be a grear game if the quality was better. Don't waste your money.

Great Classroom Activity! . I actually used this with my students today and it was SO much fun. My highschoolers, although they laughed as I ran around trying to get it to fill up, were mesmerized as it began to float! It was great to talk about the density of different air masses based on temperature in my Earth Science class, and I will likely pull it out in Chemistry too... in order to be light enough to float they had to make it out of REALLY REALLY thin plastic sheeting, so beware that it can get a tear REALLY easily, but we only had one tear and I just tied the spot where it happened and it looks pretty decent now.

Giant 50' Solar Bag Opinions
Great fun for a sunny morning . Pull this out on a nice sunny December morning. My young scientist helped me unroll the 50' bag. I tied one end and filled with air from the open end with a box fan. This quickly speed the inserting air process. I tied and tetered the end that was open. My 6 year old and 4 year old twins were happily amazed as they saw it start to float up into the air. They nickname their solar ballon "Long John". The watched and played with it for a couple of hours until it crashed into a tree and tore. Since it is so long I was able to cut out 10 to 15 foot sections to make a mini "Long John". Everyone was happy again until one of my twins let the teter go and we watched mini "Long John" sail into the clear blue sky. I have demanded that we get another one. Great unique fun for a sunny day.

Cons Review

quite impressed . Quite impressed. I teach high school physics and while my students most certainly had their doubts about how fun it could be to play with a giant trash bag, once the bag inflated and began to lift, we were all very impressed. It was about 45 degrees out side and mostly sunny. As soon as we went outside there was light cloud cover, but the solar bag still worked great.Incredibly thin plastic. I hope to reuse it a few times, but don't expect too much in terms of durability.

iQuest . This is a fantastic gift for children from 10 to 13. My 11 (almost 12) year old absolutely loves it. She took it to school to her Social Studies and Science classes and the teachers both loved it and pulled a pop quiz on their students. It is timely information and a great tool for teaching.

Super Spiral Fun . My Son (age 6)loves hexbugs, and was very excited about the idea of making a two story structure. He wanted this set so much that he saved up his allowance for it. I am pleased to report that it is great fun, and he is already saving up for another set. We attached it to the Battle bridge set and nano habitat set, and created a huge set. The bugs can go up and down the ramp the way we set it up. Very cool, and very fun to watch!

Fun for a long time . My 8 year old son loves this toy! He can play with it for hours and not get bored. The pieces are movable, so he can create his own shape with it and sometimes adds other items to the "maze" from around his bedroom. You can also purchase other elements to connect to this one. It is really fun watching the little hexbugs running around and trying to get them to go the way you want. Compared to a lot of other toys that my son has asked for, this one is reasonably priced and entertaining for a long time. He has had it for two months and goes back to it at least two or three times a week. We have not had to replace the batteries on the original bugs, yet, although they are starting to get a little slower.

Very entertaining . My 9 year old used her own money and isn't disappointed. You can use your imagination and move the track around and change the path of the bug.

A bit mesmerizing . I bought this for my 9-year-old nephew for his birthday. My mother bought him a larger set, so my intention was for this starter pack to compliment the larger one. Nephew loved the Hexbug Nano set and he and his sister spent over an hour just sitting and watching the bugs go around the maze he built.Pros:
-The spiral was lots of fun. It lets the bugs travel from one level to another and adds interest to the maze. It interfaced easily with the larger set.
-This set comes with stop/go gates which help control the flow of the bugs
-The setup is customizable. It can be moved around as desired. You could buy additional sets and they would work easily with each other.Cons:
-Setup of the spiral required some fiddling to get it right
-Can't chose which color "bug" you get. This makes it harder to pick a range of colors (because kids don't want two of the same color).

this is great . OMG This is so awsome I love it so much. It is really awsome that you can extend it to create a maze and I will play with it for 3 hours and still not get bored. Is an awsome present for someone.

Not as described. . Beware! The product description indicates the set contains two hex bugs, but there is only one. Since my granddaughter is getting this for Christmas, I gave rated it according to what I thought it would be without any experience with it.

Great toy - not as advertised . My 7 year old son loves this, especially since he can connect his set with his friend's set and make a huge battle arena. However, the product description says it comes with 2 nano bugs and it only actually comes with 1. So if you want to have two bugs to battle, you will have to buy another one.

Not bad. . We bought this for our son for Christmas. He is really enjoying it so far. I am a little concerned about the durability of the spiral ramp (just because my son, like many boys can play a little rough from time to time).
Also, when the batteries in the bugs start to run down, the bugs still operate well on the flat surfaces, but struggle to get up the ramp, so we have had a few times where they have log-jammed in the spiral. It is a little hard to reach into the spiral and grab the bugs to pull them out (even with my son's little fingers). But overall, he is having fun with the toy which is what is most important to me.

Great starter piece . It's really fun to watch the bugs bump into the walls until they find the spiral, then make their way to the next level. We like to mess with our bugs and keep the gates locked closed for a while, see if they can figure out what to do. Yes, I know the bugs are not sentient -- it's fun to mess with them anyway.Load up on those little button batteries -- hex bugs eat them for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Hexbug Fun! . This is a birthday gift for my granson. He has some Hexbugs and habitat. I love watching them. I am sure he will enjoy watching the bugs race down the spiral.

My son loves it! . This is a great product for kids to practice thier multiplication facts on their own! My son used them at school and asked me for them as we toiled through learning his math facts. I was happy that he had a fun way to learn on his own. It doesn't mean that you don't have to work with your kids but it means that they have something fun and non-electronic to learn with too!

A great quick & easy way to review math facts . My 4th grader loves to review her math facts this way. Much more fun than a worksheet. The only drawback might be that you could easily pick out the correct answer when there are only a few choices, even if you might not be able to say the correct answer without looking at the choices. For this reason, I would use them just as review/reinforcement, and not rely completely on them to assess whether a child really knows the facts. Still, they are a great and fun addition to a math program, and I'm buying others for my younger children.

Best Educational Multiplication Tool Around . After teaching for over 30 years, using the wrap ups for Math brings back the FUN in the FUNdamental education of learning multiplication facts. I use them in the classroom to challenge kids in races in which the classroom literally explodes with learning as well as having fun. Mastery of the basic facts is quicker without the drudgery of reciting the same old facts. The easy to use "quick" self check allows each students to see their progress and spot their mistakes. It's the best thing yet since sliced bread!

I expected more . I have to admit I was a little disappointed with this item. I thought it would be something that my students could use to quiz themselves with and really learn the multiplication table from. It's handy for self-quizzing, but not so much for really learning the tables with.

good teaching toy . This was a stocking stuffer for my 9-year-old, who is in the midst of memorizing times tables. This she can do on her own, and though through process of elimination it can be easier than being tested in other ways, she likes it. We'll see how much use it gets in the coming weeks and months.

My students enjoy using these . This is such a great invention! I bought all the math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, fractions) for my students and they are very useful. When some students are done working, but others are still at it, they can grab these and practice their facts. Since they give immediate feedback, the students can do these by themselves and also work at them quietly. Sometimes they like to take two or three of the the same Wrap-Ups (I've bought multiple sets over the years) and have races. The Wrap-Ups are pretty sturdy, but they are plastic and so they can break. I haven't had any Wrap-Ups break yet, but it is possible. Teach your students/children to handle them with care and they will last for years. I've had to replace the strings sometimes, but embroidery floss is strong, colorful, and inexpensive and replacements don't need to be done often. I've also bought Wrap-Ups for other various skills (they aren't only made for math)and my students enjoy those, too. When my children were little they could use them on car trips, even if only to the grocery store, and quickly learned their math facts and other skills that way. I would recommend them to any teacher or parent as an effective way to practice or maintain academic skills.

Awesome -- MUCH MORE FUN than flashcards . My second grader is starting to learn multiplication tables in school, and the multiplication wrap-ups are dynamite. Simply dynamite. They are useful to help him "noodle out" the correct answer from the answers given, and it is so encouraging for him to flip it over to see if he got them right. He plays with this constantly in the car -- he likes to teach his pre-school age brother, too -- a captive audience. There's no frustration -- if he messes up, he just unwinds and tries again.

Perfect for a more hands-on learner, like my little boy -- MUCH more fun than flashcards.

I've ordered division and fractions for him to play with on our summer vacation.

GOOD FOR LEARNING BUT OVERPRICED! . I bought this for my 7 year old niece because she has a strong interest in astronomy. After buying and returning all the cheap planetarium sets, this toy seemed like the best option. My niece thought is was an ordinary globe until we turned out the lights. Out comes the coolest constellations ever! We had fun pointing them all out and learning their history from the internet. When my niece isn't turning out the lights, the globe just sits on a shelf, untouched. For $80, I wish Discovery channel had included an astronomy/constellation book, cd, or map/poster to go along with this. Otherwise, like a previous reviewer said, you just have an overpriced night light. I loved my niece's reaction, but this globe is worth no more than $29.95.

A little pricey... . I bought this for my son's 6th birthday. When we first plugged it in and turned off the lights we all thought it was the coolest thing. And it is. It's a great way to learn. I'm not sure it's worth that price, though. $80 is a bit much. I bought it on sale for $67.

For the most part, we love it. Stars and continents in one globe. How great is that. And they don't interfere with each other. When the lights are on you only see land and water. when the lights go off, only stars. Unless you look really really closely!

It's a cool thing to have and learn from. My son loves to look for places he heard about on tv or from other people. But the price still gets me.

Disappointed . We bought the globe in May 2007 for my 7 year olds birthday, we loved it! However, this April we were laying in bed and couldn't figure out why the room was darker than normal- The light had gone out. We called the 1800 # on the box they sent us a letter telling us it would cost $35.00 to fix. We only paid $70. Doesn't seem fair to me... All we need is a light bulb or an led light sensor... any suggestions...It was wonderful as long as it was working

cool globe . I bought this globe for my middle school classroom and my kiddos really love it! It is well-drawn, and doesn't have the legend covering Easter Island, where people live (that happens often and it really bugs me!!) When it's dark in the room, the constellations light up and it looks super cool. I recommend it!
