Awesome toy for creative play . My son has this set and several of the morph animals. He loves mixing them all up and creating new creatures. It really motivates his creativity and gives longevity to this toy. Never tired of it, he is always creating new creatures and combinations. We first got this for him at Christmas and he was 4 1/2 yrs. He had some trouble popping the pieces together but was content to ask us for help. Now that he is 5 (and still loving his morphs) he can pop most pieces together himself. His 2 1/2 yr old brother gets frustrated because he is not able to pop them together himself.
Note, there are Morphs and Magna Morphs! Different and not interchangable. We didn't realize that and got sets of both for him. We have all decided that the Morphs are superior as they really stay together and are more fun to play with. Our 2 1/2 yr old likes the Magna Morphs because they put together easily with the pull of the magnets but they fall apart way too easily! He will put a dino together and then get so frustrated because it falls apart in his hands or when he sets it on the table. Aside from that these are awesome toys I highly recommend. They encourage creativity and imaginative play.
Love the size . I like the size of this product bought it for my 7 yr old for Christmas he is into bugs so I'm sure he's going to love it. You don't really appreciate the size of each bug until you see it, the only thing is I wish it did have one or two more bugs in the set but other than that it looks very cool
