Scream and cower in fear from the great volcano! . My experience with this has been pretty bad and its really hard to recommend. I ordered this and the first time the volcano wouldn't stop leaking from the bottom so I got another one. The second leaked from the bottom as well so instead of sending it back I applied rubber silicone to the areas I saw the leaks coming from. Sealed it up good and tight though there were about three places it leaked from and some slower than others. Plus the leaks were always around the motor. I had to take it completely apart which isn't really that hard but the next problem was with how easy the wires inside get ripped away from their solder inside. If I didn't have some free time I probably have been a little madder about it. So after that I finally have a operational volcano which like I said if I didn't have time to fix I would not of bothered with it and just got a refund. I must say both did leak from the exact same spot and neither was damaged during shipping. So its either the seller or the actual product. I have seen some good reviews so I don't know whether the product is bad or not. Now as far as the fun my kids love to watch it though it takes two batteries for the light and two for the volcano. Its not very durable and I could imagine one knock off the desk or counter killing it. Though it is all plastic it feels flimsy. As far as educational it brings up volcano questions but other than that there are better ways to learn about volcanos. The reason for three stars is simply because the work I had to put into it. If I had not fixed it myself I would of just gave it one star for a bad product. So if you decide to buy than you may or may not get lucky to get a good one. I would not buy again with the experience I had but who knows you may be more fortunate than me with this. Another note is its size I think this is more of a seven to ten dollar item and its only about five inches tall and only about four of that is the volcano (give or take the inches).Now don't expect anything extravagant happening or any insane volcano eruption sounds. You won't be cowering in fear, screaming or running for your life from its realism. This is really just a little motor that blows the little red beads up through the little volcano that has water surrounding it. Oh yeah there is a somewhat red light that gives it a nice little effect and it looks pretty nice in the dark. Overall I would say the decision is all yours. Just don't blame me if your heart gives out from fear or worse if it leaks water.

Cons Review
Really Cool! . Purchased this for our son for Christmas and he really loves it! He loves volcanoes and dinos so this was perfect. The beads really look like lava and he also enjoys it as a nigth light. The top cap comes off easy so don't carry it by the top, but other than that very happy with it!! Cool item :)
