Insect Lore bug jar . We purchased 3 of these for our younger children who are bug fanatics! This product is rated only okay for me because the handle repeatedly comes off! This is frustrating for my kids (ages 2,4,& 6), and myself with the repeated " MOM, can you fix this?" Otherwise my children are very interested in finding all the various bugs in our backyard. They mostly use the magnifying lid and look in the grass to see the bugs more closely, again probably so they don't have to be bothered with the handle issue. Honestly,we could probably have given the kids a magnifying glass and an old tupperware container and they would be just as happy with that!

Great fun for small boy . My four year old grandson really likes this Magnifying Jar. He is quite interested in bugs and likes to see them up close. One good thing about the jar is that he can look at the bugs and then let them go. We're trying to teach him that bugs belong in nature and the jar has helped.

Cons Review
Bug Home . I have a 3 year old and a 7 year old. The like seeing the bug "bigger". Exactly what the picture shows. The handles do come off a lot - harder for the 3 year old to carry.
Nice Handle no Jar . Received only the handle of the Jar in the package received from Amazon and its third party vendor. Lesson is to avoid any purchase from Amazon that Amazon does not directly provide. Waiting for refund.
