Versatile Plastic Balance Beam . I bought this Balance Bean Scale to teach my Grandchildren about measurements.
It centers up nicely, even though its made of plastic. The Booklet indicates that the huge trays on either side have a 2000 Gram Capacity and a 1 Gram Sensitivity.
That's not bad for primary grade children to learn and experiment with.
To go along with this, I also bought the Learning Resources Metric Weights to use with this Ohaus Balance Beam

I'm used to using a reliable RCBS 505 grain scale, and I look forward to teaching scale operation to the kids with the Ohaus.
