Great for learning phonics . We bought this puzzle to teach our 2 1/2 year old girl the phonic alphabet and it has worked great. After about a month of playing with this puzzle with me and her mum she knows all the letter sounds and is starting to understand how to make words by putting them together. Highly recommended!

A fun way to learn the alphabet! . My three-year-old daughter loves wooden puzzles but had grown tired of the typical six- to ten-piece ones. I spotted this and it was perfect, because she's had trouble learning her lowercase letters. She takes it out every night before bed and puts all the letters in their place--sometimes backward, sometimes vertically, sometimes by color; it's all a game to her. And she's learned the letters. Granted, kids aren't going to know what they are or the sounds they make unless parents show them, but it's a great tool for parents and kids to enjoy together.

I was worried about her younger sister swallowing one of the letters but as long as we kept it up on a table, we're good to go. We were amazed at how quickly she learned lowercase by playing with this puzzle. Great buy!

Nice learning activity. . I bought this puzzle for my 18 month old son, now I want to emphasize that this puzzle has very small peices and it's not recommended for children under 36 months. I plan on holding on to it until he's much older but the concept is great, I like that he can learn two different things while playing, he can match peices together and also see where the alphabet letters go. This will be great fun.
