Not worth the money . There is a heavy smell of chemical from this toy, I had to put it outside
because we cannot stand that smell which filled the whole room.
The air plug popped out and it's loosing air.

Pass it up . We thought this would be a great educational tool for our children. However, it's already in the trash. The animals & lettering are very small & there is so much on it, that the children weren't interested at all. It is not durable. Our children played with it a bit (not roughly), and it began to lose air. We threw it away & regret the purchase.

Granddaughters choice . I wanted two inexpensive globes in different rooms for my granddaughter. I didn't want them to be the same. I wasn't impressed with this because it doesn't show topography or the countries. But when I use the other globe to show something to my two-year-old, she wants me to show her on the "animal globe." The creator of this one seemed to want to show SOME animal for every part of the world, even if it's not unique for that area. For example, the wild boar is in Siberia, even though they're actually everywhere. But for its price I'm satisfied.

Cons Review
Definitely NOT for children but fine for a 'gag gift'. . I didn't expect a quality item given the inexpensive price tag. I purchased this as a 'gag gift' and it was fine; not great, not terrible. (Very small but 16" as described.)
However, I do have a WARNING: I would advise against purchasing for children because it was unbelieveably toxic in scent (even a day after opening/airing out). The globe was small enough to inflate without a machine, and I could taste the toxicity of the plastic on my lips from the mouthpiece for at least a half hour after inflating, so I would not give to a child that is of the age at which they like to put things in their mouths. I had not really seen/experienced anything this bad before. If there was any sort of warning included on the globe about inflating by mouth, I did not see it.

Fun and Inexpensive Globe . The globe is easy to see and fun to use. I haven't hung it up yet, but it comes with a place to hang it at the proper rotational angle. Good for all ages :D
Not a good teaching tool . Ordered this quickly because I thought the animals would engage the students in learning some of the countries. Unfortunately, the country names are not included or the borders of each one. Maybe be good fr young children who enjoy learning about animals.
good globe a little small . It's a good globe with animals specific to the areas shown. It's a little small for my taste, but I would buy it again.
Inflatable illustrated animal globe! What fun! . An inflatable globe covered with illustration of indigenous animals! What fun! I bought eight of these to give as childrens' gifts. At only about $3.00 each, I should have bought dozens of them! Even the teenagers and adults around the holidays had fun remembering which animals lived where. The liveliest discussion took place when adults tried to isolate what type of animal an "ackle" was, as read by a child. 20 questions over and over. As it turned out, the tiny "J" in "jackal" was obscured.
