wonderful geography puzzle . We later bought all of the Geopuzzles because they are so great, but Asia was our first. These puzzles are tough and bright and big, and are great at teaching geography. I shopped around and I think these are the best. Our six year old, two year old, as well as my husband enjoy them a lot.
Fun and educational . Although this product is aimed at kids, it's a great tool for adults too. There's something about having the shape of a country in your fingers and seeing how it fits among its neighbors to help you remember just where in the world it is. We've got most of these puzzles -- the one of Africa is especially helpful since many of these nations have changed names and we don't spend a lot of time in school on African history and geography.
Love these puzzles . I ended up with one of each puzzle for my 7 and 10 year old sons. Both have really enjoyed learning the names of all these countries and putting everything together. It's wonderful to hear them as they go through Europe, Africa, Asia... in addition to learning the names of the countries, they are also picking up the oceans and seas, which are also marked. I think it's a tremendous way to learn geographic information. I've also learned some things that I never knew.
One reviewer said that the pieces don't stay together - it is true that since they are not "puzzle shaped" they don't have as many interlocking elements as other puzzle pieces, but both of my children were able to work around that.
A minor drawback is that sometimes that are large areas of ocean in the puzzles and it can be hard to figure out where those go.
Finally, some of the pieces can be very small so be sure you don't lose them.

Great puzzle! . I bought this puzzle and several others in the same series to help teach my daughter geography. She's only 2 and she loves putting them together as a family. She's helped put them together so many times now, she knows where most of the countries go and can say the names of many of them. My only complaint is that they are cardboard instead of wooden like her puzzle of the U.S., but I haven't been able to find any companies that make wooden puzzles of continents other than North America. Great educational tool!
Fun With Learning! . We use these puzzles in our homeschool geography study. What a fun way to become familiar with continents and countries. Each month, we study a different continent. In addition to maps, colors, books and all that goes with it, these puzzles add some great fun to our class. The kids would put it together each day and race to see if they could beat their time from the day before. The loved it! As they get more familiar with the countries and where they go, the time gets faster! The children asked us to buy them all because they liked them so much!!
Phenomenal Puzzle . We received this GeoPuzzle yesterday and have completed it with our two year old son four times. He loves it and is already naming the countries.
We do the puzzle with a globe and the puzzle box nearby. We point to a country on the box and ask him what it is, or say what it is ourselves) and ask if he can find it. The bright colors make the pieces easy to find. ("Can you find a green country called Pakistan?") He always finds the piece and holds it up triumphantly. Then we put the piece in together and sometimes show him where the same country is on the globe. He has a wonderful time.
An older child, or even an adult, would have a great time working on this puzzle alone. I find that I'm getting a much better grasp of geography by playing with this.

Good product . I have a two year old and I wanted to make him identify different countries in asia.When this product arrived , I did not like it initially as the quality of pieces were bad. However my kid started liking it and wanted to play this one atleast once everyday. I did not show him all the pieces at the beginning. Everyday I used to add one piece and he used to learn that. That worked well and he is almost done with the whole map.
I still feel that the quality and size of the pices could have been bigger and countries like India could have been kept in one piece and other smaller countries could have done in a separate piece.

Terrific learning tool . As my eight-year-olds have studied geography this year, I've looked for fun ways to help imprint the regions of the world on their memories. This puzzle is great because it is easy enough that they can do it every day in a fairly short period of time...my objective being learning countries and capitols rather than how to solve a puzzle. We bought all of the continent GeoPuzzles, so they sometimes have puzzle races. I love that the puzzles have country capitols on them. The only thing I wish they would do is magically change to reflect newly formed nations. I suppose that's not a reasonable expectation, so we'll have to draw in a new border on Sudan in our GeoPuzzle Africa!
GeoPuzzles Review . I was impressed by the quality of this product. My kids love putting them together. We homeschool and they love this!
Geopuzzle . This is a great puzzle for child or adult who wants to learn the locations of countries. Educational, fun, attractive, and sturdy enough. I have several Geopuzzles and am pleased with all of them.
