This ant farm is not as advertised . I ordered this ant farm off of amazon because the picture shown was for an ant farm that connected to another one. The description of the product also said that it would connect to another one. It was my dream to connect the two farms and to one day have the two colonies meet, and re-enact a scene from "Lost" when they find "the others." Or maybe the two colonies would be at war, but two ants would fall in love like Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet," and I would find two star-crossed lovers alone and dead one day to my dismay?
Long story short, I ordered two of them so as to connect them to one another. When the orders arrived they did not connect to one another...WTF? That is the whole reason why I ordered them in the first place. If you can swallow THAT pill then ant farms are great. I noticed most of the ants died pretty quickly in one of the farms for no apparent reason, so I complained to the ant people and they sent me a new batch with little to no questions.
