Fantastic item . I bought this for a 9 year old girl who asked for "spy stuff" for Christmas. I got her a couple of spy things that were geared more as toys, but I picked this one up hoping it would be a bit above the "toy" level. This is the real thing, and I was definitely not disappointed. When she opened the wrapping on this she was immediately excited and impressed by the box - as was I. The box is just as nice in real life as it looks in the photos - no cheap materials and a very solid construction. She opened the box to find an equally impressive scope. She was absolutely thrilled. One by one, all of the adults wanted to give it a try too. We were all impressed with the range and clarity that we were able to view.If you are purchasing this for a novelty item that looks nice on a shelf, it will definitely do the job. If you are purchasing this item for its functional features, you will not be disappointed. Very happy with this purchase.

Good Spyglass but... . I received this spyglass and it was everything I expected. However, for some reason, it smells like @ss! I don't know if it's from what was used to clean the spyglass, but it smelled like it has been in some fat guy's a-hole.
