Beautiful Globe . Bought this for my wife for our First wedding anniversary. Its big enough to serve as a globe but small enough to occupy a fireplace shelf. the wood is polished beautifully. I added a plaque to it and it looks great. seller packaged the product excellently.Update: Just wanted to update with some additional info. The way the globe is weighted keeps it from going crazy with spinning but it also keeps the globe from sitting in an exact spot on the globe you want. For example if you wanted it upright and displaying North America. it might spin to the pacific ocean and lay flat on you when you let it go. Its a small gripe since this is a display piece over everything else. But I thought it should be included in my review for any globe collectors.
