Great fun! Adults too! . My 8 year old son recieved this for Christmas and he really likes it. The disks shoot out with a touch of a button. The adults had fun with it too! One person would shoot the disk and the adult would stand across the room and see who could catch the most! It made our night more lively!

Great Indoor Fun . My 9 and 11 year old boys really enjoyed this....OK, I'll admit that I have a lot of fun with these disc shooters, too!

Great Toy for Boys . My 5 year old son received this toy for his birthday. It has ten soft foam discs that fire out fairly quickly when you pull the trigger.
The firing mechanism works extremely well and the discs fly fairly strait and long. The round foam discs don't hurt if you get hit, although I would expect a direct hit in the eye could cause a minor abrasion.
This is a great toy for running around playing chase, target practice, etc. I would recommend buying a refill pack with the toy though. Wild Planet Dodge Discs? Refill Pack

The two I bought may on occasion jam-up the discs, but again that's a rarity and often easily fixed by just pushing down on the top of the discs in the disc holder. If continued jamming, usually the issue is if a disc is warped by saying a kid bending it or stepping on one, the cat or dog chewing on one, etc. Also, they do not seem to use-up batteries. All-in-all, low cost good fun for boys and girls.

might as well just get a nerf dispite their jamming up issues . I bought 3 of these so my husband, me, and my 8yo could have fun together. I chose them over the nerf guns because they reviewed jamming up constantly. Well....so do these. That, and the tops to the disk container have come off. Not happy. Should've just got the darn nerf my son asked for. We ended up getting one and it jammed up just like the reviews said, but guess what...my son likes it better. So, I'll just get him what he wants next time instead of trying to be clever. It didn't pay off with this item :-(
My Current Favorite Toy! . This is the best toy for boy OR girl. At such a great price, I stocked up on a bunch and keep them in my closet so I can grab one at the last minute if my 4- or 5-year olds are invited to a classmate's/friend's birthday party. It is always the favorite of the presents. So fun!
DO NOT BUY . I have the disk shooters, and they are fantastic. I wanted more disks, so bought these. Although they are from the same company, they do not work at all in the shooters. These disks are of inconsistent thickness (some of them jam in the shooters) and are heavier than the red disks that came with the shooters (I weighed them on a digital scale). So the ones that don't jam do not travel far at all (less than 5 feet out of the shooter)
I will contact Amazon to see if I can return these. I paid $20 for these 40 disks that are basically useless. The original package of 2 shooters and 20 disks cost only $13 (Spy Gear Spy Disc Shooters). So I guess I will just have to buy more shooters?!

Great toy but made in China . This is a fantastic toy, really durable for plastic, but made in China. Sadly, between a Communist government and the recent poison levels in many products, I would not have purchased it had I known.
