I loved this nicely creepy miniature garden. . I was given a Graveyard Gothic Garden a while back, and as I enjoy gardening and miniatures AND ghoulish topics, it was a perfect fit. I had good success with the seeds in my kit, with all but one variety sprouting in a timely fashion, and during the first couple of months of growth, the entire garden presented a nicely creepy and atmospheric impression.
I see that the other reviewer had more trouble; not sure whether their kit may have been stored improperly such that the seeds weren't as fresh, or if their environment wasn't as friendly, growing-wise. I did have to adjust the dome quite often, opening it when there seemed to be too much condensation inside and closing it again when the air was dry, but overall I found it easy to plant and grow. My one quibble would be with the inclusion of the flowering vine; while it sprouted and grew for a bit, there was no way it was going to bloom inside the dome, and I strongly suspect the product-illustration of being manipulated a bit there. Frankly, if they'd just left that one out (and perhaps added a bit of dried moss for a different texture) the kit would have been perfect!
I liked it well enough to want to get more of the Dunecraft garden kits - and I'd even like to try this one again someday, now that I know how it works!

Graveyard Gothic Garden Grief! . I am sorry to report that this item was a total failure. We followed directions explicitly. At first, two or three of the plants "sprouted." Then, they withered and died, and the soil started to grow surface mold. The concept and the packaging were good. The product is not.
I did return the item and received a refund, so the company was very good about their refund policy.

Pretty Cool Terrarium . I mostly bought this for the sensitive plant seeds, because I haven't seen those around anywhere in years. The aloe, dragon tree, and black dragon were just bonuses.
One thing to note is that the moon flower vine grows really fast and needs a lot of room. It'll be pressing against the top of the dome before the aloe and dragon tree even begin to sprout. I was aware of this when I bought the terrarium, and I meant to either plant the moon flowers in a different pot, or give the other plants a head start before planting the moon flowers. I kind of forgot about that in the fun of putting the terrarium together. Anyway, I knocked off one star for the oversight on the moon flower's lack of compatibility with the the size of the terrarium.
The rest of the product has been a lot of fun, though. The sensitive plant moves visibly with light and temperature changes. The aloe and dragon tree take a couple weeks to sprout, so keep that in mind, because the instructions didn't include a germination period for the aloe.
On a side note: I only used half of the seeds in each pack, and I have more than enough plants growing.

Missing seeds pack... . Product arrived in good condition, but missing 1 seeds pack. I see other people saying the same thing about other garden's so maybe it's a bigger issue with the company. Dunecraft is mailing me the missing seeds. The Moonflower sprouted in just 2 days. Overall it seems like a good product up front. The dome is bigger than it looks in the picture, but the volume of Blood Rock included should be more.
Cons Review
Very simple fairly effective . A pretty neat idea. They provide you with seeds for some really exotic, unusual stuff. I've had trouble with keeping delicate plants alive in the past, but this was advertised as a fairly no-hassle deal. And for the most part, that's true.
We followed the directions and planted all the seed. wWithin a day or 2, we saw sprouts from some of the plants. Unfortunately, they grew straight into the side of the plastic dome. We experimented with leaving the dome off, but the plants languished in the drier air. The dome seemed the lesser of two evils, until the contact with the condensation on the dome caused mold to start growing. We clipped off what we could, but the damage was done and everything that was growing died. We're trying to coax a little more life out of the little dragon tree sprout, but we're having a lot of trouble hitting the "sweet spot" of its climate.
I think the area we live in just isn't great for these. There's already a lot of airborne mold, and the swing between 110 degree days and 70 degree nights is taxing for anything but a real champ of a plant. Still, it was fun to give it a shot and I'd recommend them to anyone who likes unusual plants.

it was okay . The product arrived very quickly, but only one of the actual plants grew. I followed every single direction perfectly. But I did contact Dunecraft and they promptly sent me new seeds :)
Something died for sure . So all the reviews I read before ordering were pretty positive unfortunately mine will not be. I followed the set-up instructions to a T and here's what happened: The sensitive plant sprouted very quickly then proceded to rot, the black dragon coleus started and hasn't grown any more and the other 3 haven't done anything. I've had it set up for about 2 months now, making sure its getting sun (rotating as instructed) and it has water.
