Genius toy! . Got this for my 5 year old grandson and decided to prepare it for him, ants and all on the occasion of his next visit. Wow what a treat! Fascinating and a wonderful reinvention of a classic toy that I remember as a young man. Will Wright, the creative genius behind Sims I gather designed Revolution and when your ants are reflected on the ceiling the now giant creatures offer a whole new dimension to enjoy. Every day it changes and I love the ability to spin, reflect and enlarge. It's a very cool product and feels more like art then a toy. Hats off to Uncle Milton!

So cute! . Ant Farm Revolution is an amazing toy! The habitat is super cute. Watching the ants interact with each other to dig tunnels is fun and also educational. Plus, at night you can turn on the LED and watch big ant shadows on your ceiling. Super great! I want to order a bunch to use as pretty night-lights!
Green is great, but I hope they make other colors too. Overall, this is an amazing toy, for the bedroom, living room or class room!

Amazing! . I bought this ant farm for my 6-year-old nephew. (It's one of those gifts that an aunt can buy, because the parents won't buy it for their own kid.) The parents were not very happy when I told them that I was sending an ant farm, but now the whole family is just fascinated by it! The ants arrived as scheduled and are very active. It is great to see them in the gel, and the cylinder shap with the projector in the base is superb! The only comment from the parents is that the lid just sits on the top, rather than snapping or locking in place. The ants do NOT escape, but there is worry about a cat or another child in the family knocking it over or removing the lid. Otherwise, this ant farm is great fun for the whole family!
Great Gift. You do have to pay for your ants. . This is a great gift, my 5 year old son loves bugs. I didn't realize I would have to pay $5.00 to ship the ants, not bad but I wasn't expecting it. And to replace them it will be $11.
