Educational but fun! . Even though Pizza Mania is technically an Early Math game, to my boys its just a fun game. It is a game that comes with four plastic pieces and pizza toppings, everything being quite durable! The game also comes with a pizza chef which is a plastic pizza guy who talks you through the game! He does require 3 AAA batteries, which are not included and his Italian voice makes my boys laugh. There are only two buttons on him, Start and Game so it is quite simple for my boys to play, but I do have to get them started as there are two games to choose from. The first game, Pizza Party, is more for beginners (or younger players) as it uses basic adding and subtracting by 1-3 toppings. The chef tells players what toppings to add or take away from their pizzas. The second game, Pizza Panic, is for more advanced players. It is basically the same as the first game but faster. The games last about a minute and at the end of the game the chef will tell you what should be left on your pizza, whoever's pizza matches - wins! So yes there can be more than one winner! I really like that there (hopefully) isn't just one winner, as so many games are about competition but this game is more about self-confidence and paying attention. It encourages players to pay attention, listen to directions and not necessarily compete. While it is for 2-4 players (ages 4 and up) , really one person can play on their own to practice. My 3 year old loves to make the pizzas on his own and he is slowly understanding that he needs to listen to the pizza chef's directions.
Grandaughter loves it. . My three year old grandaughter loves this game. It's definitely helped with her math skills. The pieces are sturdy, and the toppings look real.
Pizza Mania Early Math Game Reviews
How do you rate thus toy overall . I bought this game as a Christmas gift and when my grandson wanted to play it the pizza man would not work. I contacted the company where I purchased the game and they will not exchange it because it was over their 30 day exchange period. I explained to the company that I did not open it when it arrived because it was a gift for Christmas and during Christmas they should have a longer return period. So now I'm stuck with a broken game.
Pizza Mania game . This game is a lot of fun. My 3 1/2 old grandson loves it. It's not just a game, but also a learning tool.
Excellent toy for early math skills and just plain fun . My 4 year old daughter got this for Christmas and loves it. I agree with the other reviewers - no complaints, all fun, and educational.
