Daughter loved this . My 9 year old daughter loved this model. She put it together immediately by herself and she has it still displayed in her room one year later. I was impressed with the quality of the model and am looking for more models by this company for this holiday season. She'd seen the NY Hall of Science demonstration of cow eye dissection when she was 8 and then again at 9 and so I thought she'd like this model. And she did. Otherwise, she's a love-anything-fuzzy girl, who only wears pink and hearts--and reads books with pink covers with office supplies on the front and girls with great outfits.

used for Anatomy and physiology class . It's true that this model is small, but you're also not paying much for it. I used it to study for my college A&P class. I got an A in the class, so I would say it helped. I wouldn't give it to a kid, I wouldn't put it together for fun, but as a model, it worked.

Its educational . Not something that should get handled very much. More just something observe. Pieces fall off easily and the plastic used in the product is britle.

anatomy eyeball . It was a smaller than what I expected it to be. Kind of hard to put together, because the holes were not sized right to fit the tabs sticking out. It does not stay together right either as a result of it not lining up right. Overall it is okay, but I would not buy anymore of this product.
Don't bother . The pieces do not fit together like they were supposed to. I spent 30 frustrating minutes attempting to put this together, but the cheap plastic pieces did not fit together. As soon as two pieces fit together, another piece falls off. The idea was much better than the actual product. What a disappointment. I couldn't put it together to display, and so am returning it to Amazon.

An okay puzzle poor educational tool . I'm an Optometrist. I purchased this toy/model as an educational tool for my patients.

Lots of fun while it lasts . I bought this for my children, ages 6-12, since they are so interested in anatomy. My teens were not involved. The children had lots of fun with it. However, it's not nearly as durable as I hoped. Tabs have begun breaking off and it is almost time to have to throw it away, since it will not stay together anymore. So get this, anticipating a couple of months of use at the most and enjoy it for what it is. Please note: I did not buy this from Amazon, but a local store.
Affordable but could be better . I purchased this product to go along with a home school project on optics and the eye. Most anatomical models are priced too high for home use. This brand of models is the most reasonable that I have seen. Plus it has the added bonus of being a puzzle. I do feel that this item has a lot of educational value and I am okay with the size of it. It was the fact that some of the tabs didn't fit into the holes very well that bothered me. I would be willing to pay a few more dollars just to have a model that we could actually put together without so much frustration. Once you got the thing together you could conceivably glue it together to keep it from falling apart but then you would lose the ability to see the parts that are inside the eye.
