Great Glass . Great glass!! Could not find a MG that was over 2x in any retail store. This is great for my 35mm slide project. I can see details in slides while in the lighted sorter. The three inch diameter is just right for the job. Nice "non-plastic" handle.

Wellmade but no way a 6x . I have been using a magnifying glass, 2x with 4x insert, for years. It is hard to look through the tiny 4x insert so I decided to get a stronger magnifer. The box says this is a 6x but no way. I would say it is 3x to 3.5x based on my current magnifer. The magnification is clearly weaker than my 4x insert. However, this magnifying glass is wellmade so it is still nice, just NOT a 6x.
Love seeing things closely!! . Purchased as a gift for Hubby, I also find it amazingly useful! It is just like the "old-fashioned" magnifying glasses we saw all our lives, and works just as well!! NOT plastic, and just what I wanted!!!

Nice Product . This is a solid and well made product. It's powerful and made of good materials, glass and chrome, rather than cheap plastic. I've recently been having problems reading small print directions on packages as well as the fine print on some mailings. Now rather than having to see things in perfect light at what seems to be ever changing distances, this magnifying glass has made my life much simpler.
Superb Magnifying Glass . The 3" Magnifying Glass - 6X - Chrome is a top-notch product. Great for examining fine detail on collectibles, photos, documents or as high-strength reading aid. Do not have enough words to praise this product. Fantastic purchase.
Just what I wanted . I'm using this glass to read 19th century maps that have beek shrunk to fit on modern book pages. I find it to be excellent for that.
Cons Review
Cheap Bad Product and False Advertising . This is NOT a 6X magnifying glass. It is 2X at most. Barely enlarges. The handle is only chrome in color, it isn't actual chrome. The glass isn't clear, the two pieces of glass that are glued together are dirty on the inside and its impossible to clean. The only thing that is correct is the 3 inch diameter.
