The Digi-Piggy is a piggy bank like no other; this piggy is able to count your savings for you. Great Little Piggy Bank . This is a fun and functional piggy bank! When we received it we immediately emptied the old piggy bank and started inserting coins into the Digi-Piggy. It was fun to put the coins in, both my 7 year old and 2 year old enjoyed pushing them into the bank. My daughter was very excited to learn that she had almost ten dollars, I could practically see dollar signs in her eyes! I will definitely not miss having to dump all the change out and counting it every time my daughter wants to spend her money. The LCD readout is very clear and you can watch as it counts each new coin. Just make sure that you firmly push the coins in, we found a few times when a penny would pop back up the bank would read it as a dime, we simply set aside a dime and when finished unscrewed the top and dropped the dime in. I am sure my daughters will get the hang of inserting the coins in no time. This is a great way to help your child learn to save money and have fun at the same time. It seems very durable too. I would definitely recommend this product.

Surprised at how great this bank is! . When my wife said she had gotten a piggy bank for our kids I didn't think I would care. Boy was I wrong! Our kids love this pig and it has really excited them about saving money. They love to put coins in and watch the pig count them. I love the pig because it is very strong and durable. There is no "breaking the bank" on this one. I also love how none of the details on the pig are stickers so my kids can't make this pig eyeless.
If you are wanting to teach your kids the value of saving money, I highly advise getting this piggy bank. It is very durable and high quality and it is also a great price!

Digi-Piggy bank . My son broke his ceramic piggy bank, so we went in search of a new one. I was specifically looking for plastic this time around, hoping to avoid a break like the last time. We saw this and he really wanted it. We've only had it a couple of weeks, but so far it is great. He loves putting coins into it and looking at the digital display to see how much money went in. Helps him to recognize the value of coins, as it shows first the amount of the coin just inserted, then it will switch over to show the total deposited amount. There is no place to insert bills, so this wouldn't be the right type of bank if you were interested in that (although you can just unscrew the lid and put them in, if you didn't care about the deposited amount being correct). But for a coin piggy bank, we give this two thumbs up!

The Digi-Piggy Ditial Coin Counting Bank . Bought two of these for my 3 1/2 year old twins. They are getting at the age where numbers, values, counting, etc. are becoming entertaining to them. The bank does what it says, with some caveats. It is very, very easy to register false reads in the coin slot. And it happens a lot. Half the time I think they do it on purpose as they're just looking to see the number on the pigs snout change. I even went to the trouble once to take all the coins out, reset it, and insert them all myself. And I got a different number on the counter than the actual value of the coins. Two, at least for my boys, it's easy to reset the number. At first I thought they were opening it up when I wasn't around (which is a no-no) till one of my boys explained to me they were able to make it reset just by shaking it. The reset button is a little black button on the underside of the pigs head (inside with the coins). They shake the coins, they hit the button, they reset the count. Even with these items it works well for my children as they are at the age where we're just learning the concepts of money (and saving) and they're not looking for an accurate hard count. I would probably buy these again (with them at the age they are and the purpose I use them for) but they will have to be replaced as they get older.
Holy crap this is awesome!!! . This digi piggy is so awesome i love it.Counts nice. Very durable.Ive put pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters, but ill probly pick up another one just for pennies. I love this thing.
Love Our Piggy! . Our kids absolutely love our Digi-Piggy. They love the clear bottom that allows them to see how much money they are saving. The snout read-out is great because it tells them how much the coin is they just dropped in and then switches to the total amount of savings in the bank. The battery case and reset button are on the inside out of reach of little hands. One of the best features is Digi-Piggy has an internal memory that remembers the latest total if the batteries go dead. Our kids now constantly search the house for loose change to save in Digi-Piggy.
Very Cute Bank . So pretty much all of these reviews are from people with kids, but I got this for myself and I'm 23 years old (It says for ages 5+, ok? I fit the criteria lol). I was looking through amazon for a counting bank and came upon this. I thought it was so adorable compared to the regular counting banks, so I just had to get it. It works great and counts the money accurately. I had a lot of change saved up, so I put on a movie as I was feeding the piggy. You have to wait a few seconds after you put in each coin so it can read it and add it. It also isn't as easy as just dropping it in...you have to use some force and basically push the coins inside. Overall I think it's great, and this is coming from an adult. I highly recommend this product. :)
Great Bank . I bought this bank for my kids they love the shape. It is also very durable as they move it around and play with it. The coins are hard to get in and if you don't push them all the way down then it can count the money twice. Overall it is a good bank and I would buy it again.

Great idea bad execution . My four-year-old son was excited to get the Digi-Piggy and we liked the idea of a piggy-bank with a digital counter. However, the counting is pretty random, where pennies sometimes register as 1 cent and other times random larger numbers. In short, fun concept, poor execution with the counter.
