I bought this product for my 9 year old son to use with his new microscope, and he was amazed with the slides, the quality is great and the specimens are interesting for a 9 year old or an adult, not at all like other slides that are "toy quality". They arrived very well packaged, and the wood box is quite sturdy.

AmScope 50 pc microscope slide set . As this product was purchased as a gift, and I don't own my own microscope, my review is only in regards to the general appearance of the product. It arrived well-padded and in good condition. The slides are individually identified, arranged in alphabetic order, and appear clean and well-prepared. An alphabetically-arranged list is included. Nice wooden case with foam padding on underside of lid keeps the slides snugly in their slots. I'd give this 5 stars for outward appearance, but had to rate it as a 4-star without the benefit of viewing them with a scope.
