Left us flat . My 9-year-old daughter got this for Christmas. We had a little fun at first organizing the ingredients and measuring and mixing the water, baking soda and citric acid to make the bubbly water. While the kit contains some flavoring powders we had to go to the grocery store to buy sugar and food coloring. Then no matter how much (or little) sugar and flavor we added the final product always tasted BAD - very salty! Also, the bottle of cherry flavoring which came in the kit had expired 2 years ago.
soda pop kit . My daughter (10 years old) got this for her birthday and loves it. She really enjoyed making different flavor blends. There's a place to record your recipes in a booklet. Best is that she played with this for hours and there's still plenty to make sodas for all her friends. One kit would easily entertain a scout troop of up to 20 kids! I'll be buying several kits to give as gifts!
Soda Pop Science . My daughter loves this. I was actually expecting more scientific learning. They use the kit to make their own soda, which they need to add tons of sugar to. Although my daughter has enjoyed this kit, I would not purchase another.
