Very kid friendly . I bought this because it was cheap. Turned out to be pretty good. I'm not saying my daughter is taking it out to a safari expedition but it functions well as a toy and has some magnification. What I like most is the neck strap has a break away clasp. I slight tug and it will open without cranking her neck and it's easy to reattach. Not bad for kids binoculars.

Great Binoculars for Children . I bought two of these for my granddaughters and they love them. We have explored how they work by looking a birds and animals that enter the back yard. My oldest granddaughter has discovered that she can see far off and gets a kick out of that. They are a great educational, as well as fun, item to have. Great value for the money!

Spend a little more money . This is just a cheap toy and not very functional as binoculars at all. I got these for my 5 year old and I wish I had spent a little more money on a better product.

Fun but compass doesn't really work ... . Overall, my 5 year old sons loves his new binoculars. They work reasonably well for the price and for a childs toy. The only thing that doesn't work is the compass. It moves, but does not point North reliably.
Great toy for toddlers! . My 3 yo twins are fighting over this toy! :) The boy is constantly looking up in the sky, checking for birds, and tree leaves, and bird nests. The girl is looking in the distance, checking for bunnies and squirrels. They now know what the rooftops look like, and that airplanes are really big. :)
Both eyepieces are made out of soft rubber, and are safe for my kids' age. The toy is rugged, and is in great condition after quite a few drops. We've had it for a couple weeks now, and I highly recommend it!

The good and the bad . I ordered three pair of these binoculars for my three young grandchildren for Christmas. When they arrived, two pair were fine but the third had no compass. I contacted the originating store and was very pleased with their polite and prompt handling of the issue. They sent another pair of binoculars at no charge. Nevertheless, it was time and energy spent just before Christmas that could have been avoided with better quality control. Or maybe they have so few issues that it doesn't pay to inspect every toy. A+ for service. C for quality.
Ideal for a curious kid . I got these binoculars as a holiday present for my little nephew. He likes his present, which helps neatly with my nephew's very creative mind.
