My kids LOVE these! . My daughter's friend brought her mermaid over during a playdate. Then my daughter asked for one. So of course I bought two just in case she liked them. Thank god I did, otherwise I would've been in a lot of trouble. My daughter was so excited when the mermaid broke through the "seashell". She carried her mermaid, Lilly, everywhere she went. The next night, she unveiled her second mermaid. My daughter absolutely loves these.So what are they? If you've ever shopped at Lush, they're the same as bath ballistics. In this case, it's a chalky lump in the shape of a clam shell. When you put it in water, the chalky bit foams away revealing a small plastic mermaid. The only down side is the ballistic itself doesn't have any bath oils in it, but my daughter didn't seem to mind. As for the mermaid, it's the perfect size to fit in a little girl's pocket (and too small for a child under 3). It's also a good quality solid piece of plastic with nice details and a good paint job. Incidentally, they change color when moved from cold to warm water. Of course there are plenty of different mermaids to collect and enjoy. Though my daughter always plays with these in the bath, you can use them in the sink, too.

FUN!! with a tiny mermaid . Love these!! My seven-year-old has had some of these Mermaids for a few years and loves to play with them in the tub. She's been wanting more and I found this one - she's is very happy!! One negative - this package was all taped back together when this arrived, glad it was only a gift for my daughter as it looked used. These mermaids are so adorable and fun for children to collect!! Not a fizzy but a blob of soap (?) that won't dissolve!!! . You've got to be kidding me! My daughter got one of these for Christmas and it was not a fizzy bath bomb like expected but a misshapen blob of what looked like soap, but it wouldn't dissolve! I had to scrape it off the bottom of the tub! The mermaid inside was cute, though and she wanted to try to get different styles of them, so I think to myself "surely the blob was a one-time deal" and go online to order more. I got three more of them and everyone of them was a blob of goop too!!! Very disappointed!!
