Fabulous manipulatives . I bought this manipulative set to use with my young daughter who was so bored at school that she was learning very little. These penguins are so fun she could not resist them. The penguins are about 2 inches tall and are made of a pleasant-to-the-touch vinyl type of material. There are ten colors, and ten penguins of each color = 100 penguins. After we've done math with the penguins, we practice counting and colors in Spanish. If you are interested in the coloring strip pictured with the listing, you should know that they provide you with one original as part of the instruction book, and you copy it to make the strips yourself. We are not using the coloring strips, ourselves.)

Great for my preschooler! . I bought this for my 4 year old son to practice counting and just play with since he LOVES penguins. He was so excited when he opened it and he wants to play with it every day. It's very well made and can be used for tons of math concepts. My 7 year old likes them too.
