Daughter loves them . My daughter loves these flashcards. They are colorful, cute, and have the touchable textures.

Also, the box is quite nice. She plays with taking them out and rearranging them from the box.
Alex Toys Little Hands, Touch and Feel Abc Flashcards Reviews
Not so great. . I'm disappointed with these cards ... They are double sided and only one side has the touch and feel area. The touch and feel areas are not well thought out and small in size. The cards are a nice size and visually appealing with great color, but are flimsy ... my son has easily pulled several apart. Wish I would have spent the $ on a better set.
Alex Toys Little Hands, Touch and Feel Abc Flashcards Opinions
Great product! . Great flashcards - loved it! Very interesting and interactive, fun for your child and makes it easy for you to engage your toddler in some learning activities...
could be better . The box says "13 double sided touch and feel cards" - but only 1 side of each card has a "feel" to it, and a poorly designed feel in my opinion. Only 6 of the 13 feel sides have a tangible feel that my son recognizes and plays with. My son loves the feel books (i.e. "That's Not My Truck"), so I thought these would be entertaining. He does like them, but treats them like any other toy - putting them in his mouth and throwing them around the room. They aren't nearly as fun as the books, and he doesn't look at them like a book or pages of a book. Out of the 26 letters of the alphabet, only 5-6 are really entertaining (goat, sheep, cow, owl, quilt, leaf). Aside from that, the feel area is relatively small (about the size of a half dollar) given the size of each card.

For $10, it's not a bad purchase. The cards are large (about 4" x 4"), and colorful, and the box they come in makes for easy storage. Anyone looking for something to start teaching the alphabet will enjoy these for what you pay. I would have been willing to pay more, to get a better quality "feel" to each card, but nonetheless, these are worthwhile for having.
Great for 2 Year Olds! . At first when my almost 2 year old opened this, he just walked away. Now??? He looks for it every time he comes over and we go through each card and talk about the picture and say the letter and sound. Yes...he is beginning to identify the letters on his own already. The cards are very durable and cute. Definitely a good buy!
Great Educational Book! . I bought this for my son on his first birthday. (I don't know why it says not for under 3 yrs of age due to small parts. They're just flash cards with touch and feel on one side of the card, no small parts.) He absolutely loves them and they are a common request from him to go through at bedtime or often opened and spread around his floor during playtime. I would highly recommend this set and plan to buy the numbers, shapes and first work Little Hands, as well. I guess if I had to find a complaint, it would be that the touch and feel is only on one side of the card and that it's difficult to go through the alphabet in order as you have to constantly re-organize them to do so (which would be a problem with any set of flashcards).
Great educational flashcards . These say for older children, but I ordered and use them with my 8 month old. She loves to feel the textures and the pictures are very visually stimulating. These are highly educational and I would recommend. However, obviously babies are a little harder on paper products so these should be supervised for young ones. Great product though, we enjoy, and I would recommend.

Cons Review
Some Problems Not Impressed . First of all, these cards have a letter featured on both sides but a texture on only one. This means that half of the letters don't have a texture. If you want this just for the ABC aspect, these cards have very cute and appealing pictures and feature familiar objects, but these are pointless if you wanted them for the tactile benefits.
Toddler Approved . These cards are bright and interesting. My 1 year old loved holding them, scratching the textures, and trying to look at them himself. He also enjoyed going through them together and practicing his ABCs. The are very durable and have stood up over the last several months no problem. I recommend any of the learning flash cards in this series.
Good product! . As a Special Education teacher, I really like this product because the kids love to feel the textures, and the pictures of the objects are cute and appealing to the children. I can also expand upon the item with other toys and materials in my collection, thus reinforcing language concepts. I recommend this product to others!
