Pendant glass with light . This is a much needed product for seniors, stumbling around in the dark, looking under furniture for things "lost", looking at tiny food ingredients in stores and finding the lock for the house key at night. It hangs low around the neck and is more quickly available than any other magnifier at a moment's notice. It's light weight and some of us can sleep at night with it still on our necks for a quick check of the time. Had there been any competitive models, I would have given it a 3, but as it seems unique, I give it a 4. Why not 5? 1). If the lanyard is pulled out (accidentally), its almost impossible to get it back in place, 2) battery replacement is too tricky; open it up and a tiny transparent washer will fly away and disappear, trashing bat replacement 3) the included erzatz leather sheath is not designed to stay on the glass while wearing it. These problems are eliminated by buying four or five at a time, they're so cheap, to become impromptu gifts for old friends dropping in unexpectedly.
