Bought for a child . Purchased for a 6 year old and she loves it - I'm happy with the size of each rock specimen and the decent storage box. Also included a nice diagram of the rock cycle and list of rock type for each specimen. It was what I expected.

good rocks . My 12-year old just started getting into geology; he really enjoyed this collection. Decent size (not too small) and packaged well.

Good starter sample of rocks . Good sample. Has 5 rocks of each - Igneous, Sedimentary and Metamorphic. All nice and clean rocks too. My son was excited. However it took a long time to deliver.

Disappointed . Ordered this rock collection for my son's 8th birthday. Received it an found it's missing a rock, as mentioned in another review. What's with the quality control? And there is no option for a replacement because it's not directly from Amazon. So now I am stuck short a gift jus before the birthday. Thanks for nothing.
