Interesting conversation piece. . Got this for my 7 year old last Christmas. He loves weather and learning about storms. It held his interest for a little while. It really doesn't do much but give a little lightshow that simulates a lightning storm. It's more of a conversation piece, or something for him to watch while he's falling asleep. Probably really not worth the money, if you're looking for an educational toy.
