Hours of fun! . My son spends hours making different types of slime and loves to measure the ingredients (which makes this more than just a fun toy). I love seeing him concentrate to make each type, and then watching how proud he is of himself when it turns out like it should (although that doesn't always happen!).
Messy Fun . If you don't mind a bit of a mess and using some things from around the house, this is a fun product. Be aware that it does require some common household supplies. In addition, a very industrious person could put the kit together with a trip to the grocery store and the hardware store. However, this kit is nice because it comes with a recipe book, measuring tools and supplies like boraxo.
Great inexpensive gift to start science fun with little ones! . I purchased 2 of these, one for each of my kids (5 & 7 1/2). The instructions are easy to read and experiments easy to put together. My only complaint is that the supplies are to be used in several different projects, so you need to put them in baggies, so they don't spill all over. Other than that... it was inexpensive, provided us with many hours of fun and the kids learned about the different substances and how they interact with each other to make something different. I'd definitely buy again.
Very Cool . We got this for my ten-year old daughter and she loves it! The kit makes many different types of slimy concoctions. Several of the ingredients are household type items so they are easily replaced when depleted.
Fun with Polymers . My son had a great time with this kit. We spent hours making the projects and playing. Almost everything is included and we used a few things from around the house like plastic cups or bowls, stir sticks or spoons, baggies to store leftovers, skim milk, and food coloring which is optional (and more cornstarch because he wanted to do the experiment with it over and over again). The experiments aren't all "new" but fun when put together with the idea of making polymers. We've been able to use this for multiple ages because for the wee ones it is just messy fun and for our almost 8 year old when we were talking about polymers this helped to make the point. This kit is for kids who like touching different textures. Great for fun, science, homeschooling, a kid's science lab party if you have more than one kit, and more.
DONT wast ur money and time!!! . Bought this for my daughter because she loves slime...thought it would be a great fun educational toy. Instead it left us disappointed when no matter how careful we were with following directions it would not work. Piece of junk...save ur money!!
slime science . My son got this as a christmas gift. I would have probably rated it higher stars on everything if we had received everything that was suppose to be included in the box. My husband and son opened it and started using it before realizing they didn't have everything otherwise I would have returned the kit. He was disappointed as he couldn't wait to make the slime.
