great educational globe . I have been looking for a globe both online and in the store for a while. This is the best globe out there. It is a functional world clock! The globe turned in real time and you can visually see the side of the globe that has the daylight and which side of it is having the sunset. It even tilt to the correct calendar month so you get to understand and SEE why the Southern hemisphere has completely opposite seasons compare to the northern hemisphere. It is definitely very educational when I can show my 3 yr old son this earth rotation concept and the concept of the sun in regard to earth. He checks the earth many times a day and are able to tell me that we are going to be "dark" soon.... We love it!

Sunlit World Globe Clock . No other globe is like this one. It is half lit and has a motor that rotates it once a day. You can always see exactly where the sun is setting or rising. As the globe rotates you can read the time of any location around the world. I've owned one for over 10 years. It is very reliable and educational. The oak stand is beautiful.

Cons Review
2 hrs slow in 12 hr period . globe looks very nice easy set-up direction are short and concise but the clock loses about 2hrs in 24 hrs so has to be rotated by hand
