Much cheapter at Costco . We got this bundle, with the game and 2 Leaplet codes, for 75 at local Costco, and it's also available online for the same price. I have a review of the Leapster Explorer at its main page (the non-bundle page). Basically, it's a decent system with a good selection of fun games, but the Leaplet downloads are way too expensive, and the device is bulky and heavy for kids 5 or under.

As always a great product . My son loves his Leapster Explorer. He plays with it often. Be aware that there is a new LeapPad coming out in September that will probably make this system obsolete.

Second Leapster Explorer . We gave our oldest Grandson a LeapFrog Leapster Explorer for Christmas, his younger brother always wanted to play with it, so we gave him one for his Birthday. They both have fun playing with them, and are learning while playing. Great purchase.

Had Higher Hopes . I thought this was a great item for my son and he really does enjoy it. He is learning plenty and having fun with it. There are too few cartridge choices and they are as expensive as many games that have a lot more content. Even with gentle use the Explorer lost audio after 3 weeks. My son still uses it but loses interest rather quickly now. Its too bad the quality is rather low.
