Nice Beginner's Project . I was looking for a simple electronics project to work with and this was perfect for what I needed. The instructions were clear. It took maybe an hour to put together. I'm very happy with the results.
A tiny negative is that the kit was supposed to come with its own solder and Elenco enclosed a note saying that it no longer provided solder with the kit.
Other than that, it was a great product.

pretty easy even for a newbie . this was the first soldering project i ever did. pretty straight forward directions and the end result works well.
i didnt understand what the "kit" was about before i received it. basically its got a several page instruction manual that goes through the basics of how to put it together as well as the fundamentals of the physics behind how it works. dont know how much value that has for everyone, but i enjoyed it.
