This review is from : Ein-O Science Science Lab-Speedy Marbles
Ein-O Science Lab - Speedy Marbles . It's a nice little kit, but it isn't much fun.

My 'pro's' on the set are:
- it comes in a kit
- it comes with instructions
- it came with all of the parts
- it is educational

My 'con's' on the set are:
- it comes in a kit that unless you pay attention on how you unpack the contents, you won't be able to fit everything back into it
- our child used it twice and now it's collecting dust
- a few of the experiments could have been done with household items, so I vascillate on whether this kit was worth the money spent on it.

Feature Ein-O Science Science Lab-Speedy Marbles

• Ages 6+
• Includes gadgets and props for all experiments
• Find out about kinetic and potential energy, friction, weight and spinning forces, and much more
• Cool marble activities to discover science principles
• Science Lab-Top - Speedy Marbles

Best GeoCards USA in USA

Price :

GeoCards USA in USA - GeoCards USA are 5 card games in 1 that make geography fun! 50 jumbo-sized cards represent the fifty states and include capitals, population, land area & nicknames for each state. In addition, game instructions are included for 5 different easy-to-learn games for 1-4 players.

Feature GeoCards USA

• State name, capital, land area & population
• 5 easy to learn games
• 50 jumbo-sized state cards
• 1-4 players
• Ages 4-104

Cool Card Games Great Way to Learn States and Capitals . My kids and I enjoyed playing several of the games whose rules were included with these cards. There are 50 cards, and each one has the state on one side and capital on the other. You can play a simple game of "guess the state" or there are other games that involve the population, area, nickname etc (all of this information is on the cards). The design is very nice and the cards are laminated and durable.

Finally great quality cards! . How great to find such high quality state capital cards! I definitely recommend them.Combined with repeatedly listening to "Wakko's 50 State Capitals" song, one can rapidly learn the state capitals and get through fifth grade with flying colors.

Terrific family activity! . My grandkids are always asking to play this. Even the 3 year old enjoys it. The state nicknames are different than when I was growing up,but perhaps they have been updated.

Helpful for learning the state capitals . These are sturdy, glossy, colorful cards. They have the state pictured, with a marginally correct location for the capital, and the population and size. If you love flash cards, you will love these. But don't think that the "games" are going to make your child a geography genius. They are ok, but nothing you couldn't have made up on your own.
Nevertheless, they were very helpful in teaching my child the state capitals.

Big and Bright Cards Great Way to Learn . These cards are really large and brightly-colored. They cost a little more than a set of regular flash cards, but they are much nicer-looking and very durable too. We have been playing with these as a family, using the rules for different card games that are included. Our kids (8 and 12) have already learned all the state capitals and are beating my husband and I at the games!

Best Price AmScope 40x-2000x Biological Compound Microscope + 9.1 MP Camera Info

Price : $3,050.00

AmScope 40x-2000x Biological Compound Microscope + 9.1 MP Camera Info - This is a full-size professional grade trinocular microscope with 9.1MP digital camera, boasting three unique features no other microscope dealer on the market can claim! Different from most other microscopes on the market, the T370B is remarkable because it features 1) simultaneous viewing through the photo port and eyepieces 2) an adjustable trinocular port and 3) a detachable C-Mount located on the 23mm photo port. The T370B's adjustable trinocular port creates a simul-focal optical system by allowing the image system attached to the photo port and the image in the eyepieces to be in focus at the same time.

Traditional microscopes on the market allow you to see through either the trinocular port or eyepieces, forcing you to switch between the port and eyepieces. Because their trinocular port is not designed to be simul-focal with the microscope optical system, you have to conduct re-focusing after each "switch". The T370B, however, has simul-focal trinocular port so that the "re-focusing" is no longer necessary. Especially handy for teaching demonstrations, clinical examinations and laboratory applications, these features allow your students or colleagues to share with you crystal clear images.

In addition, the T370B's industry standard 23mm photo port can be converted into a C-Mount port by putting on the C-mount adapter included, allowing you to attach most of microscope digital cameras and video systems on the market. This versatile microscope comes with a 30° inclined compensation-free trinocular head, 3D mechanical stage and an intensity-variable halogen illumination system. It offers eight levels of magnification, 40X, 80X, 100X, 200X, 400X, 800X, 1000X & 2000X.

The color digital camera captures microscope images and displays real-time live video on PC screens. It comes with a built-in reduction lens, user-friendly software, and adapters. The camera offers 9.1MP resolution and is compatible with Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7. Retail value: $3050.

Feature AmScope 40x-2000x Biological Compound Microscope + 9.1 MP Camera

• User-friendly Software Compatible with Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7 (32 & 64-bits)
• Displays 3488 X 2616 Pixel Real-time Clear Images with High Resolution
• 9.1MP High Quality Color USB2.0 Digital Camera
• Adjustable 23mm Photo Photo Port and C-mount Port
• Eight Levels of Magnification: 40X-80X-100X-200X-400X-800X-1000X-2000X

FABULOUS! . THIS PRODUCT HAD MIXED REVIEWS, BUT READING THEM I REALIZED THAT THE BAD ONES SEEMED TO HAVE SOME FUTURISTIC EXPECTATIONS, OR WERE ANGRY ABOUT SOMETHING ELSE. I DECIDED TO TRY IT BECAUSE OF THE GOOD REVIEWS...MY NEICE AND NEPHEW LOVE THIS THING!! THEY LOOK UP THEIR NOSES AND AT EVERYTHING ELSE YOU CAN IMAGINE...IT IS OBVIOUSLY BETTER THE LARGER T.V. SCREEN YOU HAVE. I WOULD GET IT FOR ANYBODY OVER 5 YRS OLD!

Uncle Milton MegaView TV Microscope Reviews
Great educational toy for young kids ! . My kids love this microscope to investigate all the little things around them. It sparks their imagination and makes them thinks about what things are made of. Love it and would buy it all over again

Uncle Milton MegaView TV Microscope Opinions
Don't waste your money . This microscope is very difficult to focus and the picture on the television is horrible you can see better with a small hand held magnifying glass. Don't waste your money.

not so great . Well I purchased this for my son for christmas this year. It is hard to get a actual view of what you are looking at. When we hooked it up to the TV, we got nothing. So he walks around looking at stuff, but the reason I got it was for the TV capability. The image is not clear even after adjusting the dial. Not really happy with this item.

WOW - great way to begin explorations . My 6-year old son was given this as a birthday gift. He has gone everywhere and looked at everything from the couch fibers to a moth's wings. As a result he has asked more questions about his world - we've explored cotton fibers and pollen. We have yet to hook up to the tv, but the hand-held is worth it alone!!!

so disappointed . This did not work at all. Terrible quality. Not worth owning for any reason.

Disappointing product! . This was a Christmas gift to grandchildren. They enjoyed using it initially but were extremely disappointed that although the video cable was included and installed properly, it did not project on the TV screen. Very disappointing experience.

Absolute crap . This thing is going straight into the techno junk pile. In fact, maybe I'll just return it. You can barely see anything. I could write details, but instead of wasting your time - I'd say just buy something else.

Dino Puzzle is a good buy! . My daughter turned 6 and loves to build this puzzle with her dad!! It is a great time for the two of them to do something constructive. We are both impressed with the quality and the learning value of this puzzle. It was a good price as well.

Skin Dino Stegosaurus Reviews
Good toy . I bought this for my 5-year old nephew and he enjoyed it. The puzzle was just hard enough to be fun, and the final result looks good and can stand. The pieces are made of balsa wood and some of them have a paper film on them with the 'skin', result looks good but do not expect a realistic 'skin' effect.

37 Floor Standing Blue Lapis Gemstone Globe with 50 USA Divided State Stones

Price : $349.99

37 Floor Standing Blue Lapis Gemstone Globe with 50 USA Divided State Stones - This unique gold floor standing blue jasper gemstone globe is brand new and in perfect condition. It is painstakingly handcrafted by the most talented artists by, using more than 30 different semi-precious gemstones from all over the world! This globe have used large amount of blue jasper that pulverized, and mixed With an epoxy And Poured to make the ocean part of the globe (it is a very complicated and expensive procedure, precise control of temperature is the most essential factor in the processing cycle). This is a huge amount of striking and dramatic hand-crafted stone work. This globe is built with the beautiful ornate, Tripod-leg heavy gold stand into which the globe has been carefully mounted. At the bottom of the stand, a precise glass-topped integral brass compass is incorporated to complement the globe. Each country is inlaid from a different stone, and the stones are individually cut and ground to exacting interlocking shapes, polished and set into this exquisite piece of art with care and attention to adjacencies. The elements of the globe are created out of lapis lazuli, mother of pearl, amethyst, African jade, tiger's eye, jasper, turquoise, purple quartz, onyx, unakite, abalone, green marble and many other beautifully hued and richly veined stones. The latitude and longitude lines are very thin ribbons of polished brass, embedded through the globe. Each globe requires ten individual steps to compose and it takes more than 2000 hours of labor to complete!

This review is from : 37" Floor Standing Blue Lapis Gemstone Globe with 50 USA Divided State Stones
gemstone globe . This globe is just beautiful, but the package arrived with all the mold styrofoam in pieces. Although there was no damage to the globe - the lion seal was missing.

Orion Globe

Price : $99.99

Orion Globe - Constellation on earth. The black-ocean globe may have a heavenly appearance, but it shows the earth s expanse. The Orion s 12" sphere and antique pewter finished, solid steel base, and die cast semi-meridian make it perfect for any desktop. And just as Orion blazes in the night sky, this Orion lights at the touch of a button-a perfect feature to set a nighttime mood for a unique viewing experience.

Diameter: 12" (30 cm)
Height: 17" (43 cm)
Weight: 4.6 lbs. (2.1 kg)

PROCEED WITH CAUTION . I am very sorry to write this negative review, but wish someone had, before I bought this globe. I have one, a Replogle 12" black background world globe, which I bought at an Antiques store. I LOVE it. I wanted this one, which appears to be identical (except for updating, of course) and is illuminated. So far, so good. However, much to my dismay, this globe does not 'tilt' on it's axis! Who wants a world globe that you can't tip and tilt and explore? I don't. For $85.00 I think they should include the extra 'tilt' bar! If not, I think they should state that in the description. I am editing this review because I don't want to be too harsh on the seller. He explained, (after a bad rating) why the globe does not have the 'rotating' function. It was MY mistake, in not doing more 'research' on Illuminated globes, I guess, but I still feel it should be mentioned in the description; especially given the cost of return shipping, and restocking fee. As the seller admitted, not everyone knows all about Globes, as he does. This Globe barely left the box before I saw my mistake; and it cost me apx. $30. that's a pricey mistake.
So, if you don't know about this, do some research!

Exceeded expectations... and I have six illuminated globes and none of them "Tilt.." . On the shelf above my desk hooked up to a foot switch I seven illuminated globes. Two illuminated constellation globes, Uncle Milton's "Moon in my room" with the guts ripped out and replaced with mini LEDs hanging on the wall, a medium sized antique-look globe, a five-inch blue physical relief globe, and now this globe. All but the five inch models run on LEDs so they pull under 10 watts total by the way. To modify this one for LED I had to find the smallest LED I could and shave a tiny bit off the edges of the bottom with a pocketknife by the way, but I'm trying really hard to stay on Al Gore's good graces and LEDs use less than half the juice of even CFLs.

This globe is the nicest of my collection by far, and the most unique globe I've ever seen. Almost the size of a beach ball, so there's room for all kinds of details on the globe, including stuff like prevailing ocean currents. It even comes with a booklet explaining longitude and latitude and such. Looks great in the dark. Of my three full sized illuminated globes (three are only five inches, the other two about eight inches), none of them have a tilt feature. They're positioned on the earth's standard axis, but no tilt and I think the wiring running through the base would preclude that option, so looking over what's currently the only other review I figured I'd add in yet another two cents on the point.

Looking over my reviews, someone left a comment describing the globe they received as paper that doesn't match evenly at the equator. Uneven quality or some other explanation springs to mind as an explanation, but looking at my globe closely it's unusual that the equator isn't covered by a band or tape layer like my other globes, though from any distance the slight gap looks just like an equatorial line. Looking over the whole globe closely my two printed hemispheres do meet precisely on each side of the equator.

• Great for Home or Office
• Illuminated
• Brushed Silver Base and Meridian
