more fun than we even thought! . We bought this after finding it mentioned on a blog. In the blog, the mother had made a sewing basket for her preschool daughter and loved this because it was great at teaching sewing skills - even so early. I have to agree. My son (5 yrs) and daughter (3 yrs) both love it and it occupies their time for over half an hour! Though my son has tried (well, not really on purpose) to tangle the string or pass it through a hole too many times, we are always able to untangle it. Really a great toy that I'm thinking of purchasing for their school - K and PreK rooms. As a teacher, I think this really helps with hand and eye coordination that is useful later with handwriting.
