Great science kit! . Bought this kit for my 6 yr old daughter who just started kindergarten (home school). I was looking for a fun & easy yet educational science kit so we could do some experiments. She absolutely loves this kit! We spent time learning what each piece of equipment was first, then we did the first experiment which was using primary colors to make secondary colors. Love the experiments which are on large laminated cards. Easy to understand, fun to do, and most everything needed you already have on hand. I definitely recommend this to anyone with a pre-school or kindergarten aged child who wants to have fun while learning science!

Great Beginner Science Set! . My 3 year old loves this set. It is sturdy, and chunky and easy to use. It is definitely the best science kit for the PreK age group I have seen. I love that it comes with brightly colored laminated project cards.
The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that are a few flaws.
1) The test tube lid is not leak proof. Which is usually not a problem but can be with vigorous shaking and/or if you feel the test tube to the very top.
2) None of the 10 projects use the flask. This may seem like a small complaint but my daughter is a rule follower and she is sad that none of the experiments direct her to use it.
3) Some of the projects include steps that are impossible. For example, it will tell you to use the tweezers to remove something from the test tube, but the tweezers do not fit in the test tube.
These flaws, notwithstanding, I do love the set and would recommend it.

Great for little scientist!! . I bought this for my son for a Christmas gift. He is 6 and wants to be a scientist. We have purchased other experiment sets before but they are a little hard to work with because you need to get cups out to hold things in place. This set is nice and oversized with stands to hold everything. It comes with large cards with nice easy to follow experiments written on them. This set is an A+.

Science Lovers . We have 5 little kids and they can all enjoy this on there own. The oldest will get the ingredients and supplies, everyone can help down to the 2 1/2 year olds. We have loved it. The pieces are much bigger than we pictured, but great for little hands. Experiment cards are as big as a piece of standard paper and laminated. Box is sturdy for storage. Magnifying glass has dropped multiple times and is still in great shape. There is also science content listed on each card, nice bonus. You will just need patience and paper towels!
4 year old loves it . My 4 year old son loves this. He keeps asking to play with this. You will need to buy the extra ingredients before play with this(food coloring, raisins, etc).
Awesome Preschool Science Play . This has to be one of the coolest toys/educational sets we've bought for our little man (5 years old). I was pleasantly surprised to open the box and find durable, quality pieces, in just the right sizes for little hands. The starter experiment cards vary from basic fun (mixing colors) to involved, messy fun (volcanoes); to longer-time experiments (growing seeds). The cards are large and easy to read, with some nice pictures to help kids follow along the instructions. The materials and experiments are complicated enough that a preschooler probably wouldn't be able to do them on their own, but I imagine older (reading) children could do well with the more basic activities. We've already tried out several of the ideas, and had a great time. I can also imagine doing many more fun science things when we've finished the included cards, I think the great tools in this set will serve us well for many years.
Super fun and educational! . My daughter just turned 4 and I purchased this as a bday gift. she absolutely loves it! the pieces are all very easy for young hands to use. it comes with some fun experiments to try, and my daughter loves to wear the goggles! so fun to have a science kit for a young learner. would greatly recommend this product
Great Beginners Science Kit . My 4 1/2 yr old son received this for christmas and loves it and cannot wait to do all of the experiments it comes with.
Perfect for our 7-year-old's mad science party . We ordered this kit for our son's 7th birthday, and we incorporated it into his mad-science party. Not only does the kit contain kid-friendly versions of flasks, vials, etc., but it comes with laminated cards that give easy-to-read, fun-to-do experiments. Our son absolutely loves it.
Sturdy beginner science kit good for imaginary/exploratory play . My four-year-old loves doing experiments with this kit, and also uses the pieces for imaginative play. The pieces are nice and chubby so they're easy for little hands to grasp, and the experiment instructions are clear and straightforward. The tweezers are the only part of the kit I'm not happy with, as they are a bit hard to pinch with and frustrating to use. We've done almost all the experiments that were included. My son's favourite is the "volcano" and the colour mixing. You don't really need the equipment here to do these kinds of experiments, but the beaker and test tubes act as props to make the whole experience more fun and I appreciated having a plan to follow, not being a lab nerd myself!
