Just Rocks . Kids very disappointed! One was semi-hollow, the rest were just solid round rocks! Don't waste your money.
Cons Review
Small - not worth it . These geodes were tiny ! Most were barely quarter sized. I bought 2 packs (24 rocks in all) and only 2-3 were actually hollow. The rest-being solid - were really hard to break. I even used a 3 pound hammer - the geode wrapped in a sock - and the whole thing resting on a steel I beam. The few that actually were hollowed with crystals simply exploded.
I would never buy these again - nor would I recommend them to anyone.

break yor own geodes . I love these--my son loved this gift. A little harder to break that thought--a bit small.
Really disappointed in the size disparity. Six good ones six ridiculously small. . While some of these geodes were a reasonable size:like a walnut; others were so small, like a marble. Really? I guess we can frame the experiment to hypothesize what happens when you put a marble sized geode in a sock and "gently tap it with
a hammer?"
I was planning on giving these science oriented gifts to children I work with. There are 6 marble-sized geodes in this dozen. In good conscience, I can't give these away. I have 6 decent geodes. This is not a good value.

Gifts for grandkids . My grandkids love these. It's fun to have them break them open and see what is inside.
Grandson loves it . My 11 year old grandson has recently gotten interested in crystals, and geodes in particular. He loves this and was amazed at their contents when he broke them open. Fun, educational and beautiful to display.
Cool rocks . Really cool. Of course it wasn't durable - you are supposed to break the rocks apart which is half the fun
