Flash cards . I bought the cards to encourage a two you old to speak. She understands everything you say and responds accordingly, but she was being a little lazy about speaking herself. She loves the cards and brings them to her twin brothers(they're seven)or myself several times a day to review. She gets excited every time we respond with great praise when she says a word. I've used my paint shop pro program to add a few cards with familiar family faces and names to her pile. After a few short weeks with these cards she's exceeded all expectations with her speech. She jabbers constantly now and her vocabulary continues to grow daily. I think she'll be reading before she's four.

Great Tool . My 4 year old is doing so great with these and she ask me to do them with her all the time. The construction is great and love the pictures.

Picture words flash cards . Was disappointed with these cards. We used them exactly three times--by then, the kids (twins, age 3 1/2) had them all memorized. Nice concept, but not very practical for above-average kids. I could have saved money by writing the words on scrap paper. Then I wouldn't feel guilty about how little use they got!
