Great way to practice language skills . I have been using these cards for a few years and am now on my third box of 1,000 cards. The cards are compact enough to fit in trouser pockets so that you can practice whenever you feel like it. The cards are also large enough to fit fairly long sentences, which helps with grammar practice. Don't underestimate the power of filling in and using your own cards. Since doing this over the past two or so years my language skills have increased dramatically.

not as good as I expected . Ok. Here are cards - a thousand. Perfectly cut, in a solid box. (I would prefer if the top of the box was covered, though. But this is such a detail)
1) It's thin! Not as thin as just a paper from my printer, but it is still very thin for its purpose! You want to write on both sides - a word, or a concept on one side, and the translation or answer, or description on the other side. But with this cards, you will have to use a light sharp pencil, if you don't want to see through. Also, not much of pleasure handling - still feels like a paper, in hands. I would appreciate if it had little more of that card feeling.
2) I liked how it was shown on that picture - a set of several different colors, so that you would be able to give it a meaning. Difficulty, or subject, or kind of a clue. So anyway, I just expected that - because that is how it is shown on a picture they provide. (Maybe I had to read descriptions more carefully - they never say it is actually diverse color set). So just to let you know - what comes is just light yellow. All of them.
3) Finally I use them very rarely, mostly like little papers to write a recent plan, or someones phone or a name of a store. You know, just when you just need a piece of paper really fast. Not as learning cards, as I expected.
And for learning I bought something else. I would specify, but it is not amazon product - just something from a nearby store, but it satisfies me totally.
So I do not recommend buying this product, especially for studying.
