Nice size and color . I wanted a new globe that would easily fit on a book shelf. This one is a bit smaller than a standard student globe, so it fits perfectly. The wood base and antique appearance are attractive. My only complaint is that the gold parts that hold the globe are made of plastic, not metal, so it might not hold up under rough use.
