It is very helpful in explaining fundemental physics to children . I teach 12 year olds at a primary school and I found the simple experiments included in the kit more than helpful. The young students were much enthused and wanted to do the experiments themselves. There is nothing more educative than illustrating to the students how a physics law works in reality.

Science Wiz Physics Experiment Kit Reviews
Great gift! . My 11-year-old cousin LOVES this kit. I bought it for him for Christmas and he wasted no time getting to work with the experiments. It makes it really accessible and fun!

Excellent Educational Product . For the price, I was pleasantly surprised with the educational value of this kit. I purchased it mainly to use the hands-on DNA helix in a Forensic Science class. It does a great job of showing DNA and replication. We completed most of the experiments in the kit with easily-available household items. The kit did offer two other optioins to the denatured alcohol mentioned by another reviewer. We used regular rubbing alcohol for that experiment and it worked fine. The included booklet does a nice job of overviewing the subject with pictures illustrating concepts.

Educational and thought provoking . I loved this as much as my son. It promotes thinking for kids and adults of all ages. I would recommend it for all ages.

Science Wiz Dna Kit Reviews
Great for Understanding Science . I purchased this product for its experiments. The product itself arrived before his first day off from school which was great timing.

The product itself is packaged very well. If you use it properly, you will never have any missing pieces because everything has its place. I planned an entire homeschooling day and used this as a supplement to the Science class. My son and I did the banana dna experiment...that was a lot of fun. It was great to see how we could extract the dna of a fruit by following the simple steps in the book. There are other experiments and of course the lessons on dna etc.

This is definitely a great tool for helping anyone who is dna challenged understand how it works. I would recommend this for anyone who wants to have fun with Science.

Science Wiz Dna Kit Opinions
great dna book for 4th-8th graders . I have just received this DNA kit and it is just what I had hoped. The experiments are easy to follow with pictures to guide you and there are plenty of different experiments to try. There seems to be lots of information included in the experiment book. The actual DNA model pieces are smaller than I expected.

Aaabsolutely Fantastic!!! . If students only knew how simple and fun this is, They would be amazed. Students could slam-dunk a science fair easily... This kit should be used by every school for Biology studies...

DNA Kit . This is a comprehensive DNA kit. It's easy to use and makes understanding the science of DNA understandable for the student.

DNA from a banana is fun . The introductory text and hands-on projects are integrated very well. Needs adult supervisions, but perfect for my 5th and 6th grade grandsons. Fit well with what they are learning in school.

grandma gift . the product arrived in plenty of time. I do'n't know the result yet. It looked wonderful to me. Educational, and a good toy to share with Mom or Dad.

Good! . The product is really good but I think that it's a little bit complicated to construct the DNA molecule. Anyway for teaching biology is ok. Thanks.

Younger scientists would enjoy it. . My daughter received this for Christmas. She is ten and lives to do experiments but I thought this book was a bit babyish for her. Don't get me wrong, the experiments require parental supervision but I thought there would be more in there, something more exciting then what I was able to do on my own with her. My five year old however really liked the kit.

My son LOVED this !! . My son has gotten every one of the kits from this company and he loves them!! Great learning tools.

Christmas gift for nephew. . This is a great hands-on toy that I gave to a nephew for Christmas. He is 9 years old and generally only gets excited over mindless video games. He got really excited over this chemistry set and wanted to open it first, before the video games he got! Great educational gift idea!

Cons Review

Not Very Durable . There are many interesting chemistry concepts you can expose to an enthusiastic youngster. I bought this kit for my son's eighth birthday. Found there weren't many experiments to try, explanations in the manual were simplistic, and key components were fragile and arrived broken. If it were more expensive and I felt my son would have cared, I would have asked for a replacement.

Good price but doesn't maintain interest well... . Purchased for my 8 year old son who loves anything with science. He did play with but, didn't seem to hold his interest (same deal with other sets like this that I purchased). Glad I didn't pay much.

Fascinating! . My son received this chemistry kit for Christmas and LOVES it! We both love the hands-on educational experience. The directions are clear and all items are contained in the kit for numerous discoveries. It just happens to be the same thing he's learning in school right now! We'll be purchasing the other kits in this line, as well!

Great educational set! . I purchased this Chemistry Set for my 10 year old nephew, it has created a passion for chemistry! He found it so interesting that he is now memorizing the periodic table. I recommend this set for anyone child with a desire to create and learn new things.
