Beautiful little globe. . This is a very well-made, sturdy, beautiful little globe. I really bought it just for decoration and reference, but it's actually really cool. My 5 year old nephew uses it every time he hears of a place he doesn't know. He looks for it and gets so excited when he finds it. It's really cool because it tilts in all directions. I really like the antique look of it too. This is a really great looking globe. And it just feels heavy and sturdy. You won't be disappointed.

Just What I Wanted! . I wanted a globe because I am so clueless as to where things are around the world in relation to each other. This is just what I was looking for, its small and goes great on my desk for easy access.

delivered broken . I bought this as a gift for my 9 year old. When she opened it on xmas day, the stand was broken. I will only get a partial refund because I bought it in October when I was doing early xmas shopping. I should have inspected it by taking it out of the box. It's small but ideal for a kids' desk. Parents will need their reading glasses. Hoping super glue will fix the stand.

Just what I was looking for . Was looking for something,that wouldn't take up to much space. The writing could be a little larger. It serves the purpose I wanted.
Southern Hemisphere x 2 . I gave this as a gift for Christmas. Found out after the person took it home and opened it that both the bottom and the top of the globe was the Southern Hemisphere. So if you are wondering why our children do not know their geography, you have to look no farther than the globes being created. I have to say it does live up to it's name: "Wonder Globe" since I wonder what planet these folks live on since it is not earth.
not for kids . I got this for my kids so they could see how far away I was in afghanistan. It broke the first day.
Cons Review
It's Nice! . I bought this for a gift, they absolutely loved it! Seems to be well made, I would recommend buying this!
Retired . This is a nice, little globe, which features good color and art work. It is OK for locating countries, seas, and oceans, but remember it is small (only about 4" in diameter)so that detail beyond that is out of the question. It fits nicely on a table top as a quick reference tool.
The way it is mounted takes some getting used to, and I wish that it had a nicer base, but for the money, it is a good buy.
