Delightful for anyone! . This was sent as a gift to a friend. I liked it so much, I purchased one for myself. I put it on the livingroom coffee table and it interests all who see it, many friends have asked where they could get one for themselves. I have always loved kaleidoscopes and this one is the best I've seen. The colors and patterns are gorgeous. Care should be taken when placing it in the base, and it may be best suited for ages 6 and up. I remove it from the base when viewing it, as I find it a bit awkward viewing it while in the base.
