Good for the Alphabet . I liked the colored manual alphabet cards. I was disappointed that there were not more signs, though. They will only be useful for one or two class periods.

Cards fun with my son . My son started to learn sign language at the babysitters before he was a year old. It was great to be able to communicate with him before he could talk. He just turned two and is learning more everyday and I have a hard time keeping up. I ordered the cards so we could be on the same page. Very helpful but are a bit hard to understand how to do some of the signs.

Wonderful Flash Cards . I got this set for my son (as well as levels A and B) right before my son started kindergarten. It was nice to let him practice some of the easier sight words, and it really helped him as he started school. These flash cards are great as well, because they taught him words that are not pronounced phonetically as well as words that he began to see a lot as he started to read books. He enjoyed the "flash card" system, and even asked to work with them. Now, as he is in second grade, I still use the cards. This time, though, I use the cards to help him with spelling these words. He is an auditory learner and tends to try to write all words phonetically. By showing him these cards, I can let him see what the different words look like--and how they are not spelled as they are heard. My second son is starting kindergarten, and we have started to use the flash cards with him. I feel that we have gotten years of use out of these cards, especially since they are so durable. I know that they print words on both sides of the card to make the package less bulky, but I do wish , as another reviewer pointed out, that the words were only printed on one side so that I could put them in piles of "what my child knows" and "what my child doesn't know." Other than that, it is a wonderful educational product.

Awesome product - my son loves these! . My 2nd-grade son's teacher requested daily practice with math facts. I picked up these along with the Subtraction, Multiplication and Division. Right now we're working with subtraction and addition. My son loves the cards and so do I. The cards are made from a sturdy card stock, have beautiful, engaging graphics and big, easy-to-read numbers. They're self-sorting, meaning one corner is rounded so they're easy to keep organized. They also have self-checking numbers on one side for the parent if you use them in a traditional sense. Each set is designed with different graphics: Addition is assorted cartoon animals; Subtraction is dinosaurs; Division is jungle animals; Multiplication outer space theme. My son is eager to move to the other sets! I must say these are fun to work with and engaging for the student! I highly recommend these cards and kudos to Trend Enterprises for a fantastic product!

One noticeable problem with these Flash Cards . There are 52 fact cards in the addition pack, and 52 fact cards in the subtraction pack. The problem is that way too many of the cards have either a zero, one, two, or a combination of these numbers in each question. Once these easy facts are learned, there are only about a dozen cards or so in each pack that are challenging.

Good for homeschoolers or Moms . These flashcards are a nice tool for sight words. I wish they included some kind of ring, so they could be flipped. They would also benefit from a little page of directions for teaching suggestions, games and activities. The box includes none of these. Also, I think there are too many sight words included. I really only wanted the Dolch sight words, but these include the Fry and Dolch words. They are printed on nice durable cardstock, with a nice, readable font. However the fun value is literally zero, so look around for something like Wrap Ups, or Flash Kids sight words. Maybe there is something slightly more creative. What I am doing is using a hole punch and a ring. If my son knows the word immediately we punch the card. After five punches the card is taken out and replaced with a new word. I plan to have a stack of about 20 going at a time. A friend gave me a metal ring to keep them on, but I don't know where one would buy a ring.

Good product . Simple flashcards. Well made. High quality. Not a lot of fun to go through flashcards but sometimes it is necessary.

Flash cards . I bought the cards to encourage a two you old to speak. She understands everything you say and responds accordingly, but she was being a little lazy about speaking herself. She loves the cards and brings them to her twin brothers(they're seven)or myself several times a day to review. She gets excited every time we respond with great praise when she says a word. I've used my paint shop pro program to add a few cards with familiar family faces and names to her pile. After a few short weeks with these cards she's exceeded all expectations with her speech. She jabbers constantly now and her vocabulary continues to grow daily. I think she'll be reading before she's four.

Great Tool . My 4 year old is doing so great with these and she ask me to do them with her all the time. The construction is great and love the pictures.

Great! . We bought these for my son who was two at the time. We started with one state each night before bed/nap time, and as soon as he would grasp it we would add another state.( :

They are very durable, very easy to read, and I like that the state is shown individually, and darkend on the entire U.S. Map. The back of the card has capitals, and facts. Love that they are also color coded by region. They are made of a card stack that has a light sheen.

Would recommend to anyone!

Great to use . They are very well made & colorful. I love how the front of the card has the map of the country with the state in black, the area of the country it is in, an outline of the state, what number state it was and the year when it joined the Union & it shows the flag. Be forwarned, some states have their names printed on the flags so you may need to cover the corner with your thumb. The backs have some great info; capital, state bird & flower, nickname, industries, attractions & interesting facts. A great reference for any report!They are, like most flashcards, too small to use in a classroom setting. I use them with 2 kids and really, I think that is enough. I use them for review. Once a week we pick 2 states & their capitals to learn. On Fri we have a "State" Bee with all of the states we have learned thus far.

Great for schooling. . Our child is moving right along learning these. We like them. They seem to be holding up to daily use.

I am so proud of my daughter for how well she has tackled these cards . These cards are great. There is one problem per card, which makes it possible to drill with them -- make a pile of the cards you know and another with the pile you don't know, and keep whittling down the latter pile. Many of the pre-printed flashcards on the market have different problems on each side, which makes this sort of drilling awkward if you know one side but not the other. These cards also have one rounded corner, making them easy to sort.My daughter was complaining that the math at school (addition and subtraction) was too easy, so I started to teach her multiplication. These cards certainly helped. She is now fluent up to 12x12 and her school is advancing her to the next grade's math class.

These are perfect! . I just purchased these flash cards and went through the whole stack to make sure they were all there... And yes, it is a full and complete set of multiplication flash cards, from the zeros to the twelves. I almost purchased the smaller set and thankfully I read that it was not a complete set. I can't imagine getting flash cards and all the numbers not being there. What is the point? I own the addition and subtraction cards from this same company and love them. I homeschool my child so I use these to teach her and I find that the answers showing on one side is invaluable. Sure I could present a card to her without the answer showing and tell her myself but she will have a better time remembering if she can see the numbers. These are nicely made and have a gloss to one side. They don't feel flimsy or cheap. I paid 17.00 for the set including shipping and would pay it again... I will be looking to this company for division cards in the future.

56 Colorful Addition Cards for Numbers 0 to 12 . What you get with this product is 56 sturdy cards that have large print and cover the Addition math facts 0 thru 12.

In appearance, the cards are very colorful, with a slick finish, and large, easy to read black letters. One corner on the top side is curved so that you can sort more easily the simpler math problems but from the more complex. The size is a little under 3-1/8 x 5-1/4 inches.

Unlike some card sets there are two problems per card in this collection. So on one side, for example, you might see 3+8 (in a vertical format), while the other side of the card will show 10+11. If you are wondering where the answers are, they are in small print on the bottom left corner of the opposite side of the card. [If you look at the enlarged picture, you can see what I mean]

On the plus side, the color is nice to have and the critters make the card visually appealing, and who knows, maybe less intimidating. On the negative side, I personally prefer one problem per card, mainly because if a child is practicing by themselves, they might possibly get distracted by the answer at the bottom.

We like these cards. They are sturdy and look good. The addition of color is a nice, but there is a possible drawback inherent with having two problems per card.

Great for toddler vocabulary and early reading . We've had a lot of fun with these cards. I have no feeling of cramming learning down my kids' throats.

I bought these for my 4-year-old in hopes of her learning a few sight words. Instead, my 2-year-old became interested as her vocabulary increased. I can see her pride as she knows the names of all the items. My older daughter is now 5 and loves the challenge of trying to read these, as well as the safety net of having the pictures right on the other side.

These are well made in a simple print with nice pictures. There are a few items that are confusing for toddler vocabulary (such as "cap" vs "hat", "dog" vs "puppy").

In addition to the animals category pictured, there are clothing items, transporation (bus, plane, etc), common objects (ball, book, etc), colors, and shapes. There are also signs (stop sign, exit, etc) which we've always skipped.

actual pictures of objects not just drawings . I've bought a number of flashcards for my daughter and this one is the one she and I like the most. I like the fact that they used actual photos of the object rather than artist illustrations. I'll get this for my nephew too.

Flash Cards and more . I have a two year old that was being lazy about speaking. We knew she understood everything we say because of her appropriate responses and actions. She's said many words,too, but she's not consistent. The cards were for encouragement and were used as a toy not a forced issue. She likes to "play" with them as much as she likes to color. She brings the box to me or her twin brothers and loves to go through them with all the praise we load on her when she says a word. She goes through them several times a day now by her own choice and talks constantly as a result. We've only had them a few weeks and her progress is phenomenal. I've added a few extra cards using my paint shop pro program which contain names and faces of family members and pets and friends. I think she'll be reading before she's four and couldn't be happier with this purchase!

Great learning tool . Great product, love the color pictures and they are laminated too. My 5 year old is doing great with them. Even though she knows many of the words now she still wants to see the picture on the other side. Some of the words are more complex for those just starting out, but it gives them something to grow into. I'm about to buy another set, we love them so much.

Exactly what I was looking for! . I just got these in the mail yesterday and have only played with them a couple times with my 5 year old daughter. She enjoyed playing with them and they have helped her learn a few new words so far. The only downside with them is that it might be difficult to separate the cards into piles of words she knows and words she doesn't because the words are printed on both sides of the cards. But for the price and the learning that your child gets out of it, that problem can be easily forgotten!

Great product!! . I have all three sets of these flash cards. My 1st Grader is now very excited about reading as the flashcards are more like a game to her than an actual task. The cards are very durable. I wish I would have purchased these last year when she was in Kindergarten.

Wonderful Flash Cards . I got this set for my son (as well as levels B and C) right before my son started kindergarten. It was nice to let him practice some of the easier sight words, and it really helped him as he started school. These flash cards are great as well, because they taught him words that are not pronounced phonetically as well as words that he began to see a lot as he started to read books. He enjoyed the "flash card" system, and even asked to work with them. Now, as he is in second grade, I still use the cards. This time, though, I use the cards to help him with spelling these words. He is an auditory learner and tends to try to write all words phonetically. By showing him these cards, I can let him see what the different words look like--and how they are not spelled as they are heard. My second son is starting kindergarten, and we have started to use the flash cards with him. I feel that we have gotten years of use out of these cards, especially since they are so durable.
