Frex . Beautiful and durable letters. Put on the wall for my preschool class. Well made. I just used wally putty that is used for hanging paper items without damaging the wall. Very pleased. I love Eboo!

Put it on her wall... . I do like these letters a lot, and got them because I felt it was time to have the alphabet readily displayed in my daughter's room. She's now 16 months old, and has already shown an immense love for reading. I thought these would be pleasing enough for my daughter to see everyday, and it turns out to go really well with our decor in her room. We have green and blue (gender neutral) walls. I am only giving this 4 stars because not only was there not any adhesive in the box (the box said it wasn't included), there were no instructions about putting the letters on the wall. I am rather craft-stupid, and I need guidance on such things. I found removable foam adhesive at Target, and attached it to each letter, then each letter to the wall. I did this a couple of days ago, and it seems to be holding up fine. I put them just high enough on the wall that my daughter can't reach them to remove them. Yesterday I read her an alphabet book, and she pointed to each letter and then she looked right at the alphabet on the wall. She's already starting to recognize and attempting to say the letters!

Wonderful Teaching Aid! . I had the great fortune of parents who made sure I learned three other languages as a kid. They started very early with me and I distinctly remember them making their own flashcards. It's too bad that they didn't have access to these beautiful, affordable, and very easy to use flashcards to aid them! Now, as a parent, teacher, and a nanny, I work hard to teach my kids the basics of French and Spanish, and I stumbled across these. They have been well worth the price and they were highly affordable. Best of all, my kids that I teach love the cards and enjoy using them too. I would recommend them to both the beginner and the advanced speaker as they embark on teaching others.

There are a few times that the cards use outdated pronunciations or word choices, but it's actually a plus in my book because it aids further in teaching. When I see a card with a different context of pronunciation or word choice than what is currently popular or commonly used, then I can supplement by saying "Or you could say it like this ..." Anyways, the cards are really lovely and sturdy. They seem sort of indestructible because one of the kids I nanny is 18 months old and a total "rip things to shreds" sort and he wasn't even able to destroy one! They also wipe off nicely with a damp cloth.

Do consider using these for your own kids! You wont be sorry!

Cons Review

Cute. Broke after 1st day of use. . I love the simplicity of this chart for small children. My girls (3 and 4) were so excited when we ordered these. I ordered two charts and a few of the knobs ceased to work after the first 24 hours, rendering it useless. We hardly touched it. I wish this item was made of wood instead of this cardboard type material. It would also be nice if it came apart at the back just in case the knob/dial needed repair. As it is, you can't take it apart. I am throwing mine away, but I wish they worked because they are so simple and adorable.

Great Way of Instilling Values with Chores! . This value/chore chart is WONDERFUL. We have two boys ages 5 & 6 - they love this thing. They are excited to do their chores so that they can change the dials. They look forward to starting all over the next morning. This is a fantastic tool for a parent!

NOT just for Kids . Couldn't afford the investment in a Rosetta Stone Language program...but I could get this!!!
I coupled this with the "Bannana" word game and allowed Spanish as well as English words! Added to the fun! Scrabble would work for this too!

The Best Spanish Flash Cards . I purchased these flash cards for my daughter, who's 4 years old. I'm trying to raise her in a bi-lingual environment, and thought this would really help her to get a head start on learning Spanish. I absolutely love these cards! They're high quality, well made, and have great pictures and examples. My daughter almost has all the words mastered; within a month!

Beautiful quality flashcards . These are BIG flashcards. There are 56 in all. High quality. They have a laminated finish on them so they can be wiped with a damp cloth if they get dirty. The pictures/words are the same as the ones on the eeBoo bingo game, so you could combine the two sets to play more games. There are 8 flashcards in each of 7 categories: Animals, Nature, Vehicles, Clothing, Market, Colors, and Room. (The bingo game only has 6 categories; there is no Room category in the bingo set). There. I think I answered all the questions that I had before I got the cards. :-)

Best Language Flash Cards . My mother bought these in both Spanish and French for my one year old son. I'd looked at a lot of different Spanish flash cards and these are the nicest I've seen. They're not super thick, but not flimsy either. The illustrations are really nice, and I like that the sides are exactly alike except for one side is Spanish and one is English. Even though he's only one, our boy LOVES them and often tries to pull the box down off his dresser to sort through them.

As far as the "Choking Hazard, Ages 3 and up" label here on Amazon - there's no small pieces, they're just cards, so the only thing I can figure is that the child could tear off a piece and try to eat it. In that case, like with any toy, I'd recommend supervising your child during use.

Easy Spanish . Nice colorful and bright.
Some of the choices of words are a bit strange, but overall it works well.
We put up a few different cards on our notice board at home each week.

Wonderful flash cards . These flash cards are great. The illustrations are beautiful and engaging. Even though they are a little mature for my 1 year old, his eyes are drawn towards them!

graphics are meh and cards are thin . a lot of cards in the box but the graphics seem a little outdated and they are thin. i wouldn't recommend these for a little baby. great for kids past the teething stage

Cons Review

Mother of Two! . I really liked these flash cards, specially since they are really the only flash cards out there that helps you use the word in a sentence...but the pronunciation guide was lacking, and if you are someone like me who is just trying to help my children gain exposure to another language at an early age, but as I am not fluent myself, it can be difficult at times to be sure you are pronouncing things correctly.

Probably Better for Four and Up . Who doesn't like to learn manners from pigs? My son really likes Piglet, so I thought he'd be able to relate to these flash cards. He does but I think these are a little advanced for 3 year olds, perhaps there's a bit more maturity as preschoolers approach kindergarten age. Anyhow, he's now interested in the cards, several months after I purchased them. He's really learning from the questions. One drawback is that the actual cards are made from paper stock that doesn't seem durable and are a little too precious.

Boring . I bought these for my three girls. I love Eeboo games and we have a few including the party game (similar to the picnic one). my girls and I all found this game to be very boring and honestly a waste of time. I think it is really important for kids to learn good manners so that is why I bought this game. For our family, it was a waste of money. The good manners being taught are very limited (please , thank you , excuse me). All manners that my children already know and I was hoping that not only would this game reinforce manners but teach them ones that they are not as familar with. Not really all that impressed and I would rather model proper manners to them on a daily basis then sit through playing this game with them again. Thank you for reading my review :)

Manners cards . This is a fun way to introduce and re-inforce manners to your kids and grandkids. Teaching manners is important and not always easy to find fun ways to talk to your kids about it. This will certainly be a good start.

i love these cards . My oldest child needs a few cues on social manners & customs...she doesn't pick up on them as quickly as other children or as quickly as her brother. So, I just love these cards with the cute pig illustrations. She really likes the pictures and it helps me review with her socially acceptable phrases. Some situations, not so applicable. But, I guess it's good to know just in case.
