Rip off . This barely works. It was a gift for our first grader. My husband seeded our front yard with small metal objects for her first use of it. It did not recognize even most of the larger objects that were simply scattered on top of the grass. A big rip off. And, really disappointed a little girl at Christmas.

Cons Review

Don't . Junk. Typical made in China cheap. A 12 year old had dificulty putting this together due to non fitting pieces. It would seem that all the parts were placed in the box from random pieces and not test fitted prior to selling. Not worthy of the National Geographic name.

Great value telescope . We bought this National Geographic telescope for our 10 year old son. He loves it and is now very interested in astrology. We found the quality very good for the price. I would recommend this product.
