Very cool one shot toy . I have liked this toy a lot. My 6 year old brother got one for his birthday; he liked it and so did I (I'm 10 years old). This proves that this product is for all ages. I find it educational as it shows and teaches the techniques that paleontologists use. Do not buy it for very impatient kids -- it took 2-3 hours to finish digging out the fossil, but the amount of time it lasts is good for patient kids as it does not get boring during those 2-3 hours. 2-3 hours of fun is good for its low price.

4 year old loved it! . This takes time to use...which is a good thing! It captured my 4 year old's imagination and held it for some time. To chisel the rock away, one must be patient. Watch out for the dust. Use a mask or play in an area with good air flow.
