Incredible Toy . Apparently, this is one of Discovery Toys signature products. Looks simple, but wow is it different than any other set of cups. First, there are 12, not just 8. My son started by stacking and knocking down, and the older one stacked upside down. Then you teach them how to sort by color! Then, the bottom of each cup has a stencil of an animal -- from a butterfly on the 1 cup to a whale on the 12 cup -- that you can use to make clay moulds. But, you've only started. The cups can be used to tell time -- you make a clock fac with the twelve cups, and they have a little clock face inside each cup that shows where that number is. Ok, but here's the kicker: the cups are volumetrically correct! So, you fill a 1 cup up with sand, and fill a 4 cup up with sand, and together they'll exactly fill up a 5 cup! Kids learn real math -- not just symbols -- while playing. These cups are indestructable!
