My 5 y/o can't get enough . My 5 y/o loves her x-rays. Of course, she asked for them for Christmas, so I guess we couldn't go wrong. They are durable, educational, and she loves the fact you can put them all together to make one "mommy sized" person! Then after you have put them together, parent and child can work together to put the labels on the specific area of the body.

How many people can truly look up at the night sky and tell what specific phase is there and why? :) Whether one is teaching basic moon science, astronomy, moon lore /mythology, art, or critical thinking / observation, one can find many interesting uses for this clever product, which engages visually-oriented, hands-on-learners, the students who learn by seeing and doing. As part of my mythology classes, I like to teach moon lore and moon observation. I like to challenge today's computer /cellphone attached young people to look up at a natural wonder that has captured minds and imaginations of humanity for ages. Interestingly enough, I use this moon calendar project along with "Uncle Milton Moon in My Room" light. Together, they make for an interesting class module--worth doing, worth repeating.

The prompt asked me to declare how durable this product was. I gave three stars because the long strips are like poster paper--hence "worksheets." I am fine with this feature for the purpose of this project. I suppose people could laminate the completed moon-calendars if the users wanted something more permanent.
