Exactly what I wanted . I ordered this globe for my 7 year old son because we home school and he needed a globe for geography. It is nice because the globe is not attached to the base so you can look at it from any angle. It is a good size too and is decent quality.

Small Globe Works Well . My son wanted a globe that he could pick up and look at, just like the ones he had in his first grade classroom. I priced the exact kind as in the classroom and they were over $300--way out of our price range. This globe fits the bill nicely. It's on the small side, but the print is still easy to read, the countries are up-to-date, and it fits nicely on our computer desk.

nice size . A very nice globe, great to be able to pick it up and turn and view as you wish. It is approximately the size of a soccer ball. The white plastic stand that comes with it is a little cheesy; a wood style or metal style one would have been preferable. But i wanted a globe that was not too large or expensive and that was not attached to a stand. I am pleased with the purchase.
